Yeah, it's called slant rhyming... But mineral/potential is still a bad rhyme. The flow in the last few bars was basically non-existent. A few rhymes here and there doesn't mean it flows.

It's good that you think that way, but personally I don't think you can pull off having a unique style at the level you're at. You need to learn the rules, then you can break them skillfully.

derek heres a tip.

if u have to give a lengthy explanation for one of ur lines. ur better of not using it. cuz if u cant get to ur point in ur lines. then ur point just isnt worth getting to ya dig?

and using big words=shit...making sense and opening up peoples ears=goldmine.

dont just use big words becuz other people do...

if u want ur own style, u gotta find wut ur good at...u gotta find how u can express ur self with music and make sense.

u cant just use big words and be like....yo hocus pocus my rhymes be like supercalafragalisticexpaladocious
