Im sick of people acting like Bruce Lee is the single greatest martial artist in the history of the entire world because he's fucking not. There are ancient Shaolin masters who's name are still legends that would fuck Bruce up. He's the best martial artist to ever transcend into movies and make asian martial arts big in the american mainstream. For what he did he's a pioneer and he was a great martial artist yes....

But when I go on youtube and read shit like Bruce Lee in his prime would kick Mike Tysons ass in his prime....

Like Bruce Lee didn't have a great ground game but he was an exceptional striker... And even if ground game was good he wouldn't be able to wrestle Mike Tyson down. That being said there is NO WAY even out of 100 fights that lil 150 pound Bruce Lee with his small chin that's never been tested before could out-strike a boxer like Mike Tyson... that's just absurd

and don't forget tyson was seasoned with experience in world class competition and bruce.... he never even did tournaments cuz he didn't agree with them

Come on you clowns... my dad in his prime would just get in close and clinch Bruce, toss him completely over his head and choke him out in a first round

Bruce invented Jeet Kun Do which is a mixture of the best techniques from every single martial arts he studied in his life, there's several throws in that martial arts but not many submissions, takedown defence, or ground grappling. It's essentially a strikers martial arts with takedowns sometimes

That being said, Tyson in his prime at his size like that moved so quick, speed kills. Tyson would probably be almost as quick as Bruce even at 150, and with a granite chin in his prime. No way man, no fucking way.

yeah, if they fought they are about the same speed ive seen tyson training videos,
as well as him boxing, if both were in there prime, if tyson caught him with one, fight over,end of story..
and honestly just because some one is famous or known for fighting or a champion, there is always somebody tougher that probly isnt heard of..
shamrock in his prime got beat up by a logger that he picked a fight with at a bar and my grandpa ended up arresting him..

intimidation....... honestly my trainer always told me that if someone is breaking into your house.that you will always have the advantage,with extra strength/ability, because your defending your wife,home,children ect..
not sure if it applys to a regular fight,but if its not the case, if you know your gonna get your ass kicked, your adrenaline will be pumpin twice as much if you know your gonna get your ass kicked, just make sure you use that to your advantage and make sure you know what your doing,(think)(practice with friends if u have to) cuz that plays a HUGE factor..
and if i met bruce lee and had to fight him, i would piss my pants and pray in gods name for a lucky take down.im just to damn slow..
