Unhappy Need help with using samples wisely to make a beat in f-l..

I need help, I have sampled an old skool disco song thing, with two 30second long samples and I can't get a beat to it, This is what I've tried so far http://www.soundclick.com/bands/thedyce_music.htm
You will know by the name, tell me how I can improve on it.. I added the strings the shaker asnd the beat, Its not the best I can do, I just wanted to try it out.... So If you can help it would be koo'

Yeah first of all make sure ur sample loops over, that means if u kept playing it over and over, then it wud sound like a long contious beat, then in fruityloops, select yr sample and find the bit where u can time stretch, and set it to a multiple of 16, then adjust the tempo of the track so the sample sounds normal, then when u play it now it shud sound normal

Aight, yea.. One of the samples loops over heaps well, Ight I'll try that...
