Remembering those summer nights
Watching the skies dance and smells of rain on the horizon
Not knowing this would be a future reflection of what would come to me

Clouds pregnant with lies, promises made to be broken
Love taken light heartedly and away from me
Banished from within and
Suddenly
she’s lost without a trace of existence
Besides what is left within the realms of my conscious
Full of promises of love for lifetimes

Watching your disappearing act attempting to alter and destroy lives
As if you owned the cold souls of those who once loved
You unconditionally
Wishing memories would fade of you so these emotions
Would not rot from within

Your lack of existence tore through
Our lives like a directionless twister
Reeking havoc on innocence
No warnings or signs of your true Judgment
Living life through your eyes of Oppression
With thoughts of leaving screaming through your
Soul

And then she magically appears
Without a trace of yesterday’s storms
Cloudless skies of blue
Clear and Clean
Like thoughts of being unseen, invisible and invincible

She acts as if her storm has not caused a
Chaotic Confusion and sufferings from her
Mental Contusions when her skies darkened
Swelled with lies and disbeliefs of her inner propaganda

She laughs as if her rain didn’t flood our hearts
With hurt, hope, fear and pride turning into hate
As if she didn’t pump us with insecurities to hide
Her weakness through our fears and run from the
Truth

Claiming her visions are pure as fresh snow
From a polluted sky
Full of impurities
Misleading one’s mind’s eye to show her filth
That has tore down what we fought to build
Bringing those thoughts to fruition
Making us remember her storms without warning
Causing damage and pain that never has come to an End.

Feeling the need for Her reparations of the damage
That She dragged us through,
No apologies
It’s become something we needed to accept

So I’ve made it my muse to amend this pain
While it continues to rot from within
Not expecting her to be all she should be...
Its too bad this woman really is supposed to be a mother to me.
