What do you usually do first..
Melodies/Strings or Drums.. Personally I tihnk it's easier to go off a Melody..or a string pattern... but it doesnt sound as clean as when you make the back bone of the drums first.. Actually..I just need help..Period.

build a strong drum section first and then everything else will fall into place
but then again it depends on what idea comes to you first every beat's different and therefore needs to be built differently sometimes hope that helps btw this is the wrong section this should be in audio assistance |

I always make the melody first, and then build the rest of the beat around it.

i ALWAYS do my drums first
for me i need to have a solid pattern down in order for me to lay my melodies right i fuck up the tempo a lot of times if my melodies arent playing correctly, so the drums kind of guide me... then of course afterwards i can go in and edit a few things here and there but yea drums first then everything else
