Your best Ghost Stories...true or stylized...step inside if you dare...muhuahahuaahau
IP: 2B7A 2084
First off, let me start by saying that I believe that spirits exist and that the paranormal is real. Extra sensory perception (ESP) is a documented fact. And, I've even experienced it myself in the form of empathy (sensing emotions/energies) and occasionally clairvoyance. I'm not really clairvoyant though. Anyway, I've had my encounters with the "unexplainable" in the past. So, I wanted to share a couple of my experiences here.
The following is based on fact, though names have been changed to protect the identities of the innocent...<-------------Okay, too much tv...lol ************************************************* When I was 10 years old, my moms and pops moved into a house in southern Maryland. It was a typical house, 4 bedrooms, 2 and 1/2 baths. It wasn't extremely large, but it was comfy and appreciable. Anyway, my aunt Yvette and I volunteered to stay the night while my parents tidied up at the apartment. The house was empty at the time. During the middle of the night, I heard what sounded like crying in the furnace room. I thought nothing of it at the time. The next day, the moving trucks came and we got settled in our new house. I was excited about having my own big room. The house was split level. So, the "basement" was really liveable, with a large room set off to the side. This was to be my room. In fact, this room was as large as my parent's, so I was really happy about that. Anyway, my excitement didn't last long. About a week after getting settled into the house, I began to experience what I later found out was sleep-apnia. I would be conscious, but could not breathe. I also began to experience sleep-paralysis. That's when you're conscious but can't move. One night, I was awakened to what sounded like a man whispering "Get out." I could not open my eyes or move due to the sleep paralysis. But, I could feel chills going up my leg. I heard it again, "Get out." When I finally broke out of my paralyzed state, I ran upstairs and immediately told my parents about it. They were up, so, they claimed that I probably just heard them talking. I believed that and went back downstairs to go to bed. A few more days passed and my cousin Monique can over to stay the weekend. We played around and just basically explored our surroundings in the new neighborhood. Then, later one night, I could not breathe as I slept. I was conscious, but couldn't move or breathe. Then, after what seemed like a minute of suffocating and trying to break out of that paralysis, I jumped up. And, to my utter shock, I saw a small shadow moving across the wall. I immediately became gripped with fear. Chills ran down my spine. I could not move. The shadow left my room and traveled down the hallway. It eventually stopped on a wall adjacent from my room and moved off. Again, I ran upstairs to my parents room, waking them up this time. I told them about what I was experiencing and they suggested I move upstairs in that spare bedroom across from them. I slept upstairs on the couch that night. The next day, I moved all my belongings upstairs. However, that did not end my experiences with this "entity" I was feeling. In my new bedroom, I began to feel an even darker presence. It scared me so badly, that I asked my grandmother, who is a very spiritual woman, to come over and offer an explanation as to the presences I was feeling. The moment she stepped in the house, she began to feel these presences. After walking in my parents' bedroom, she began to tear up and said, "There's a man here." It sent chills down my spine. Then, when she walked downstairs to where my first bedroom, now vacant, was, she said, "There's a little girl here." I started crying because that was the same sound I had heard in the furnace room the first night I slept there with my aunt, Yvette. It was the sound of a little girl giggling. I couldn't make it out at first. My grandmother prayed for the house and left. After a few months of living in the house, things began to settle down. Then, all of a sudden, I went to wash clothes one day. I set the washer and went to watch TV on the couch until the load finished. Then, 5 minutes later, the washer stopped. I said to myself, "I know it couldn't have finished that quickly." So, as I walked over to the washer to check it out, the lid was open." I looked around puzzled. Some washers will start and work with the lid open. This one doesn't. I closed the lid and walked slowly back to the couch, shaking my head. That happened twice. I moved out the year I graduated from college. My parents have since split and my father no longer resides there. I remember walking upstairs from the basement and feeling like someone was walking right behind me, watching me, wanting to reach out and grab my shoulder. When I'd turn around, nothing was there. Come to find out, the previous house burned to the ground...And, that house was built on top of it. The owner died. A man named Caldwell. The End. 1 |
