there is an alotment of money, like a budget for foreign affairs. Besides what could we do with 151 billion? Yes, help the homeless, but we already have programs that are geared towards that, people just don't take advantage of them. We don't know how to use money wisely here, thats why tax maybe higher. We can't just start handing money out. Some of the money that they are spending is for our troops, I mean they are over there, they need to build camps, food, etc. Besides America always gives money to other countries, kind of like an IOU for fucking up your country. And in doing this, it makes the Americans look like they don't mean to kill innocent Iraqis (ha!) and only wanted the intended terrorists to suffer. Hey, we say we're fighting "for" Iraq and its people, because they can't do it themselves...

they aren't getting new stuff, in fact they don't get monetary compensation... the refugees and the innocent get food and some shelter... necessities that the war deplenished.

Yes, I see in the shit that goes on in my community, do you? I mean I partcipate in many things; volunteer to feed the hungry, I'm a big sister to inner city youth, and I volunteer as a peer counselor to teen mothers and those pregnant. Do you know how many government programs are geared to help those in need? In fact there is more monetary aid for the less fortunate than there are for schools.

It's all about retribution. It is not the WHOLE country against us, remember it's a terrorist group, extremists. If a group of American radical activists made some political statement in another country say Canada, a statement against there government and demeaning to its people, should Canada blame every American or the country in general? Thats why hate crime is at an all time high, people assume you're of mid-eastern persuassion you're related to Osama. Narrow minded views, if you ask me.....

jes i no what you mean but all goverment aid goes to the extremely poor and the rich. what about the middle class, the people fighting for jobs that get cut becouse the CEOs need more money, weres the goverment aid for them, sure unemployment, but with over 250,000 poeple unemployed alone in my state, unemployment only lasts so long and with that many people looking for jobs what are they too do, then they spend all that money that our country could use to make us great again, and spend it on a buch a people who dont give a shit half way round the world.. wha the fuck???

If you want change go to your next city meetings, get involved. Employment is still be effected by other things other than money, you can't solve unemployment with money and the democrats in california (especially Davis), are going to impose a tax on companies who hire abroad. The computer industry is known for hiring overseas and establishing business on islands and they hire out of country to save money on labor as well as avoid paying certain taxes. Doing this, hiring laborers for cheap and not hiring their own has caused employments recent rift.

What you said has nothing to do with the money spent on foreign affairs. It's all within our country and dictated by our government. Hey, I'm not by any means against the U.S. infact we're better off then some, but you can't say that this country doesn't take care of theirs. Yes, how you going to fix the world if you can't fix home yet, but remember we're a democracy the people may not rule, but we do have a say by who we elect in office. you can even take measures beyond that... funny thing is that mid-class has the most votes.
