yeah... the bars look stretched i guess, but i didn't spend any time worring about structure... this is just how it turned out in notepad...
Pride's when you stay in the fight not wantin'a save your own life By how you were raised & what ya know is right, they can tell humble while you're humming show tunes, to show you, you're moving up, be proud- no one likes a show-boat, stay in your zone without remaining local, concentrate, and maybe some day we'll know you, Stay on track, not just talkin bout laying vocals, Change the whole world without changing yourself, Money makes your world go 'round, but not everywhere accepts cash, Resent-mant from what were then-friends'll make things hopeless for when you do the hard work, n got stuff to show for it, Shit's tough, and you're supposed to ignore it, stuffed upto your throat holdin in emotions, going through the motions, won-dring how close you are to ex-ploding, is it too much to hold in, or just what you got going for you, seems like no one 'round heres pulling for you, no girls or nothings falling for you or calling for you, so you packed up your pride & swallowed it whole, Decided to follow the mold, tried it until,your upscale lifestyle blinded you pride, ya feel it's unreal- up 'til your blood spilled, never was one to know how being jeal-ous feels, just stayed on the grind, feelin like rusty wheels, while i ride in the hurst,eyes were closed as i learned my survival was cursed, read my bible at first - took my time and it worked, for the first time my pride didn't hurt, still it got worse as i desired and flirted with the idea of getting sent to the fire n burning, Luring my burdens out, but they're getting hid further in, i was sure, seeing what they do to me, heaven wouldn't let me in when the doorbell rings Now i dont know what your personal hell brings, Mine's selling pride & opinons for 2 cents - spare change, to pay off this overwhelming debt to society cuz I wont change….. I don’t care what they say… Go ahead and lose me in the shuffle, I’m elusive and I want to be viewed useless, just to taunt you, fool you, then embark on my travels through the underworld… Maybe they'll have somethin'a be proud of while looking down from above

decent battle heres my breakdown
a k w o r d z~pretty good drop it took me a min 2 figure out the flow becuz ur structure was weird, nice vocab and i was feelin how you wrote this topic bigchase~Real nice drop your verse had a real nice flow to it and your vocab was pretty good, the structure of it was good 2 i like how u put 2 different stories and twisted them into one In my opinion this was a real close battle but in the end... v/bigchase |
