This is a idea i've been thinking bout for a while now:

Attention: If you want to read this, please do read it ALL, each part is important, cause without some of these, it couldn't work

heres how it can work:

you represent your area, there'll be 8 sign up threads made availible(8 entries allowed for each area, 1st come 1st served)
America(East Side)
America(West Side)
South America
Canada
England
Other Europe
Australiasia(Oceania and Asia)
Other

Once you join that area, you have to choose the division you like to compete in. Each competitor can only compete ONE division

When you put your name into the area you want in the sign ups, you got to tell which division you want to join

Divisions are divided into the following "Sports"(8 competitors for each division):
Normal
Forced Words
Topical
Punchline
Poetry
Self Hype
Self Diss
Area Diss(Diss your opponents area, be it members, or landmarks, etc)

Prize for divisional winners:
Gold Medal - 1000 RV$
Silver Medal - 500 RV$
Bronze Medal - 100 RV$

At the end of the tournment, the 8 areas will be ranked by the number of gold medals, if two or three or more areas have the same amount of gold medals, then it'll count towards the number of silver medals each area have, then it'll go on to the number of bronze medal each area have, and if that doesn't sort out the rankings, there'll be a playoff, where a set of normal battles will be battled between the areas, but it's unlikely that this'll happen

The winning area will get a decent amount of money shared between the members representing that area

For the prize money issue, I'm hoping strobe could cash in on this

I wish to mod this, I then will assign 8 more qualifing mods to mod each division

I know this is a big job to set this up and everything, but I really think it could work.....

so, what do yall think??? holla back at me, and strobe, what do you think? You think this deserves a forum? You think this tourney idea can be turn into reality?

west america-easy enuff
east america-easy enuff
britain/u.k-easy enuff
then hve
rest of america/south + canada...should b enough...
rest of the world/asia/europe/ausralasia etc...then there shud b enough
