My little debate with Jameson prompted this thought...

IP: 64CA 6C26

He made a statement suggesting that basing one's life on one's opinions could be limited...

well..

let's see

To clarify something, I base my life on my beliefs in God, not my "opinion" about things. And, God forbid someone base their life on beliefs! Thank God Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. DID base his life on his BELIEF that we should be equal. I think a problem with today's generation is that they lack conviction for anything. People don't take a stand for much of anything, and that's a problem.

If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything. <---old adage!

What you don't realize is your beliefs are still opinions. Are you done?

Seriously man...you can say you believe in him all you want, but that's not fact, because God hasn't been proven. You can say that you have talked with God and that he's in you all you want Q, but I'm skeptical. It was King's OPINION that all people should be equal, but word at how that was just an example you used and that I'm appreciative of what he does.

Well, at least you have nothing to lose by believing, Q, other than time.

u see hades, when something cannot be physically proven thats when good ol faith comes into play

i know this may be an odd example but a writer called terry pratchett mentioned this in one of his books:

you dont need to have faith in something such as, let's say, a table cos u know its there

whereas u need faith to believe in something that cannot be proven by definition

therefore let the guy believe
