GREAT BATTLE......shit... both of yall dropped some good shit fa real... in this one it comes down to emotion and i just feel like Cali had more emotion in this one, it was more heart felt in my opinion... no hate troop cause your verse was REALLY GOOD too, this was a hard battle to judge guys... no hate at all to either of you... GREAT BATTLE!!!!

ya'll are equally matched in every aspect in these verses, but my vote gota go to troop. i liked his ending a little more than CALI's, although both were hot as hell

Damn, i think this is the best poetry battle i have ever fuckin' seen on this site. Damn, this shit is hard. But in all honesty, i thought they were both good, , but Troop had more multis, and a tiny bit better wordplay. C.A.L.I., damn you represented on this one, but Troop just beat you by a lil' bit man. awesome battle.....but dayumm c.a.l.i killed this one with ill imagery and vocab,the emotion in both pieces were incredible,both had different takes to the topic which both were creative,but i honestly have to give this to c.a.l.i his imagery and vocab just blown it out.....good drop troop but you were out done in this one..

Alright well since im poet of 2004 i figured i'd help some kids out by votin on they shit...

C.A.L.I- Your ish was good man... the imagery was good and your emotion was strong... The way that you portrayed the imagery it painted a vivid picture in my mind and it was really working... this piece drew me in from the very start... solid piece man... 8.6/10

TR.OOP- Your stuff was okay,... i wasnt really feelin the structure it threw off the flow but this is poetry so the structure isnt really the biggest deal.. your emotion was good... but you could work on it with some points and build it up to make it apeal more to the readers and everything... the imagery was good but that also lacked... not that bad a piece... kinda seems like you just startin on this/... 7.4/10

Damn, some of those lines were pretty amazing... real deep from both of you. I thought that TROOP had a more consistent structure and rhyme scheme whereas the meter in CALI's verses wasn't always on point. However, it gave it a sort of off center, chaotic beat which works well with the subject matter. I thought the imagery was great in both but CALI engaged the senses more, his lines were more vivid and carried more urgency. I like the whole background setting TROOP set up, gave the piece more depth and involvement but overall I'd say I enjoyed CALI's drop more. Once again, great battle guys!
