Carter I & II were great. I used to love Lil Wayne before he went all new age and totally revamped his style for Carter III.

In my opinion, he's gone down hill, but apparently it's working, cause he's selling albums like he never has before, and his popularity is through the roof. So what do I know?... Lol.

I mean Lil Wayne might be the best at creating catchy songs. Like Mrs. Officer and Lollipop could be 2 of the most "catchiest" tracks you'll ever hear. I'm just not feeling his lyrics within his verses 80 percent of the time. I wont take away from his skill to create great hooks, which too most people is the most important part of a song next to the beat.
