Setting up a network on xp ??!?!?!?!? (fucking computers)

Aiight so I reformatted my computer and installed xp, how do I connect to an existing LAN thats set up in this house so I can get access the internet connection on the main computer?
I've tried using the map network location tool, but its been useless and aint found shit...... I think I was sposed to get my network settings before I reformatted, but I didnt so does anyone know how to fix this problem and get the network running? ----______------ *bugs strobe through pm's to answer his computer problems* |
