Intro

Week 3 didn’t go nearly as well as planned as a lot of no-shows occurred. It was somewhat disappointing because almost every single person who no-showed I reminded on AIM to show multiple times. Still, the league is progressing and is showing signs for future growth.

Stanza (2-0) vs. §howcase (2-0)

Stanza no-shows so §howcase won.

DaTrusHurtz (2-0) vs. Syntax (2-0)

Syntax dropped first a 20 line verse even though he said he was going 12. He had a super Mario and kris brown line which coulda been nice, but his wording fucked them up, and the rest of his verse was utter garbage. Trus came pretty consistent with some decent quotables. This battle only got 1 vote, but more votes wouldn’t have changed the outcome and Trus won.

Tony Brown (2-0) vs. Jack Tha Ripper (1-0)

JTR no-showed so Tony Brown won.

Uncil Phil (1-0) vs. Slouch (1-0)

Slouch no-showed so Uncil Phil won.

GC (1-0) vs. Wireless (1-1))

Wireless dropped first dissing the Ravens. His verse was pretty up and down, but he had a few harsh personals in it. GC dissed the Titans and he didn’t put up as many lines as Wireless. In terms of quality the verses were about equal, but Wireless posted more and therefore had more quotables so he won.

GKillaz05 (1-1) vs. Sureloc Holmes (1-1) (1-0)

Sureloc dropped first and his verse had some okay lines about New Orleans, but looked a bit rushed. GKillaz put up a quick verse after and it was terrible. Sureloc woulda won 2-1 anyway, but GKillaz heavily swayed in the battle anyway so he was DQ’d.

Aurora Sky (0-1) vs. Baron, Bitch! (0-0)

Aurora dropped first and had some wording troubles. He had a few good ideas, but just the wording was too indirect for the punches to really hit.

Aeral (0-2) vs. Ancel (0-0)

Aeral no-showed so Ancel won.

Roger Glocks no-showed so –Troublesome- won.

This was a bit too one-sided to be battle of the week, but there wasn’t anything else to win this.

Syntax

This dude owns exactly zero legitimate wins over decent heads in his entire net career, but acts like he’s better than everyone and is some god at text. He proceeded to challenge me to a worthless front lines battle and when I declined said I was afraid of him. This is the same dude that I purposefully set up a battle against in the GBA. He also admitted to prewriting a verse against me should I battle him. He definitely made quite a fool of himself and easily gets dumbass of the week.

New Mod

Given that Nick and Appoc bailed on me, I need some help running this league. I can handle the operations of this league on my own, but what I really need is someone who can help me market this league and has connections with heads from different sites. AKA, if ur homesite is RV or RB, don’t bother applying. You don’t need to help me out with anything other than talking to heads from different sites and convincing them to come here, a very simple task if you have connections. I’ve already been in talk with one member about this, but if your interested, please let me know.

9. Sureloc Holmes (2-1) – Still elevating, but has potential if he keeps improving his game.

7. Wireless (2-1) – Sometimes inconsistent due to rushing verse, but can drop some cool stuff.

-Troublesome- can come pretty nice. So can Ancel, but its been awhile since I’ve seen Ancel write so I don’t know what to expect. I’m gonna predict –Troublesome- in this one.

Hard to make a prediction here because Prycele$$ just signed in, and I haven’t seen him before. Props to Sureloc Holmes tho for referring him here. I’m gonna go with Wireless, but I could be wrong.

Close battle here, could really go either way as both aren’t bad, but still need to elevate some more. I think GC is a bit more consistent so I’m going with him.

Baron has a really unique style which I really dig, but not everyone does. Prosecuter isn’t bad, but as long as he shows for this, I got Baron winning.

Both of these guys have been around for a bit, but never have quite fully elevated so I’m not expecting much from this. Toss-up really, I’ll go with ~Luciano~.

I haven’t seen too much from Popcorn, but he’s not bad. Mike V has been around for awhile, too. This battle could be decent, but I’ll go with Mike V.

Alpha is from RB and Dipset is an alias, though I won’t reveal who. Alpha isn’t bad, but Dipset I think is better and will win this.

Based on a cipher drop, I almost didn’t let M into this league, but I’m going to give him a chance. O RLY is from RB. He hasn’t battled in a bit, but I think he’ll win.

Its disappointing the league lost some possible talent with Glocks and JTR no-showing, but we also lost a few fags with GKillaz05 and Syntax this week. Also lots of new signins for this week so that’s great news. Everyone needs to show for their battles this week, I don’t want to hear any excuses.
