Road To Riches From the deepest abyss, I will arise as a holy unstoppable force Ascend to the promsie lands afar, along the untravelled course The paths will be rough, and they will test my will and character If I stand fast, I know nothing can change who I am, Who I be From every direction i will be tempted by temptations constantly Thus daily, I will kneel before an alter and kneel and pray humbily So the devils of the industry, can witness that God's protecting me And recognise his overwhelming power is following my epic rise Blessing me, ensuring that these demons do not instigate my demise Because when your back turns, friends will gaze on you with envious eyes Jealousy is a raw emotion, and it can lead to actions most unwise However, I know that I can forever rely on my blood family I know that they will rally,when war erupts around me sparadically I swear, on the moon, the stars and the gentle yet powerful oceans If success shakes hands with me, I'll reward those who have shown devotion Those who have stood with me side by side, through times of comotion Reacted to a reaction of force against me, like newtons third law of motion Been a true friend, not simply using me as a platform for their promotion I write the first eighteen lines of this poem making crucial assumptions That I will complete my jouney, and not get lost at a junction That I will attain my goals and not fail but persist in mental consumption That my rhymes stay fluid yet tight and my brain does not malfunction So in this verse, I do pledge to hope and never give up To never rest or dwindle till the finest french champagnes fill my cup And I can walk down stairs into a basement filled with ancient treasures To attain all this, I vow never to resort to drastic measures Live a life filled with expensive pleasures, a life of simple leisures The road will have snakes, and money hungry, back-stabbing bitches So I must be weary of the evils residing and living on my road to riches Italics Show Themes OF Poem

Road to Riches ~Poem: Guy being on road 2 riches, his lesson~ Keep his gift from happening... His goal holds more conflicts ...Conflicts to separate is easier than lab hydrogen bonds did thirst and famine, for a millionaire's solid penny- let him have it it's a freebie, if he sticks to his guns, then his talent must grab it Will he turn around once to notice the same size footprint granite ...years from now, haven't changed once his career's established or that his bookbag with a mic & notebook, his only type of speech compared 2 his new wrist, it's bling, won't bring his quality unique? He speaks with an attitude on people that were once in his shoes ...Shoes one size fit all, full inventory, u think they're lower than u? shit, it's true when travelling on roads: your enemy is to look back there aren't any sidewalks- & NO respect once he runs off the map ....he learns to face his past, an old burnt bridge become a ramp merging his old life with the new, like giving Omish kid a lava lamp He's customizing the old system with the pearls & the diamonds Riches aren't everything, & u don't need roads to start climbing..

Fiya im suprised you came short on this but it was an all around good piece. You had the imagery but I think your vocab was inferior to Acuity. Acuity you had great vocab and imagery and that made your piece stand out from both of them.

^bullshit i think both fell short here neither had good imagery even though acuitys was slightly better acuity also had better vocab and a better story plot going along with his poem it draws you in better then lady fiyas poem did which was nice in a sense but with not much to go on im gonna have to go with acuity both of you need to stop slacking
