Is Hip Hop Dying......or being clouded

IP: 28AD 5545

in the game today hip hop is being clouded with the image of money and jewelry, bitches, weed, and, "gangsta shit"!

Take for example back in the original days of hip hop...it was a form of expresson and battles took place on the block....and it was all love....now they flood the industry wit fuckin money and wealth and who's more gangsta then who and shit. I wanna go back to a time where lyrics actually ment something and it wasn't just fuckin suburbian ass kids that are dying to be hood... lemme get ya thoughts

True Hip Hop, ya that is basically dead. It's like, on a resperator with the few "underground" artists still out there. Hip Hop isn't dead, it is just having a different principle.

Man.. If you made this thread mid-last year. You would have a point.

Hip hop cant die and infact, industry cats are saying that the next big thing will be interlectual rappers that can tell a dope story. Thats real hip hop.

Plus look at the media today.. Rap music runs the shit, its always gonna be there.

If anything the bling bling era is dying and making way for better forms of rap.
