I was just looking at the due date for my currant battle. And realised that another useful little tool on the battles would be a count down clock.

For instance when the page is refreshed not only does the timer tell you the date, but you are also told in Days-Hours-Minutes exactly how long you have left to drop your verse.

Its possable to get this information through the dates, however this would make life that much easier. Just an idea though.

Good idea.. The countdown clock has been implemented.. let me know if you have any problems.. Only works if you have javascript enabled.

RV's clock is Eastern Time.. it should be adjusted for DST... It's also synced weekly to a server that is pulling the time off an atomic clock

Basically that says there is 34 Minutes to drop the verse, however according to the dates, I have untill tomorrow night. Not sure whats going on with that.

Possibly is due to the clock being out of sync with the clock running the dates?

Yea i noticed that my battle timer is actually outta sinc wit my time @ home u reckon u could set that to the same way as we set our own time in our user profile?

To Be Honest...I Don't Know Why I Bothered

Is your computer clock running right? The current code takes the time off your computer and starts the countdown from there. I'll have to figure out how to get it to use the server time to do the countdown.

Well that would be the problem then. I have roughly a 10 hour time difference to the server because Im in Australia. Isnt there a way to seperate it from the time zones and simply make the countdown run off the amount of minutes left in the battle?
