It’s more important then you think
Holding a blade of cool sharp steel
Pushed into flesh watching it sink

It’s not exactly what you see
Blood runs down, drips on the floor
The red hope means more to me

It’s not at all what you heard
Energy rushes, the pain surges on
Loss of reality frees the bird

It’s not all about what you want
You cry at what you see you’ve made
The funeral music, a horrid taunt

It’s not all about where you go
Compass broke, you cannot tell
But follow the light and you will know

It’s not about who misses you
The visit the site, leave sorry gifts
It is about what you chose to do

I dunno why but lots of people write about cutting themselves and I just don't ever understand it. Especially when they talk about doing it real slow, yet whenever I've cut myself I've had to do it quick or it hurts really really insanefully.

To be honest, I don't understand why people are so fascinated with poetry about cutting themselves. But I do understand the latter part of your poem. About following the light, and about it's what you choose to do. That I get. Y'know?

yeah i understand...
ive never actually cut myself... i dunno why i right about it... maybe im curious... it scares me to think about... the past years been pretty rough... i dunno... maybe this is the option i take instead of actually doign it.. get it?
