XLR adaptor?

iight well im tryin to get started in audio, i have a mic but the plug at the end of the cord is fuckin huge. ive heard the i need an XLR adaptor to fix this problem, so does anybody know how about much they cost?

Iv seen this.. i dont use one, i made a ghetto concoction of my on
 .. its called a XLR 1/4" to 1/8.. to go to ur computer right ?.. u need a mic preamp tho bud... u cant jsut jam that jammy in there.. u need a interface.. they cost liek 50+ bucks.. a mic pre-amp or portal or interface.. w/e u choose.. u still need a 1/4" to a 1.8" to jam it in ya computer audio mic plug... radio shack sells em.. gutar stores.. ect... -1
