Blood puddles the ground like lakes of cherry ink stains
Crumbling buildings fall on children who cross in thier lane
A lone scream awakes my dreams into a cold sweat
I smell the exhaust and hear the screach of a lone jet
I stand yet fall as the ground crumbles beneath me
I awake to a soldier pulling away rubble trying to reach me
As my vision wavers i see more fire fall and rain on the land
Like shattered glass the soldier explodes as he stands
With no hand to help i pull myself from the wreckage
An explosion knocks me off balance as i fall i reach for his weapon
Land flys in all directions like fireworks in a clear night sky
And the screams are of misery of those not willing to die
Offspring passes in the arms of his mother unable to smile
And close by a mother dies in the arms of her child
Then it stops and only the shouts of those passing are heard
As the buildings like old candles continue to burn
Then another screach and the air is thick with the evil
And more fire falls and continues to rain on my people
Running in all directions yet achieving no distance obtained
As we all die and the fire continues to rain.........................

I felt king more on this one he had better emotion his flow sounded good to me and his poem just sounded better no hate CALI. overall KING gets my vote peace.

pretty good battle here cali took this though um i think by the verses hes more comfortable doin poetry seems to come easy but yea calis verse got me into the story showed emotion an overall it told a story an thats what its all about king dipset you did alright to but i think cali got it...vote-CALI

This was a close battle, loved the topic actually.

Cali: your vivid way of describing situations is amazing, I felt as if I was in the middle of it all withnessing what was happening. The emotion was strong to, you made us really feel the chaos,the pain, the struggle...

King~~Dipset: the emotion was raw in your poem from first line to the last, stayed consistent on that. Had some good imagery but I feel you could've described certain things in a better way. When I look at your vocab, I can see that you found good balance between complex and basic. Good job!

Both drops had excellent emotion...I thought Cali took the slight advantage in imagry....but Cali takes this for better story and creativity...King used the same concept as Cali which brought his verse down in my eyes

Cali had better imagery which made the poem come alive, king dipset yours was like looking through a window, but emotion was better than CALIs. But overall Cali had the most enjoyable poem so :
