explain then.....Because thats what I always thought was the reason for typing lyrics......i was a text head because I sucked at audio and didnt want ne one to hear me. I still battled text to a beat in my head......text is just a security blanket so you can hear what im thinking but I dont have to get up in front of the class.

Texting is for people who enjoy thinking up, and disecting words and bringin witty diss's, that are easily enjoyable through reading. Its almost a form of making a joke, but a written joke. There are things that you do with in text, that would be horrible for audio....hense wordplay, acrynonms...and others.

Audio, is a creative aspect that you need to make sure you have proper flow, breathing techniques, good descriptive words....and many other things


The problem, with nicky jett, is that he's tryign to say that texting, is also the same thing as text battling

Texting, can be broken down into 2 different feilds. Maybeing texting/poetry wrting should be able to get turned into an aduio peice, but text battling is on a completel different level....

Text battling is not one half of audio. They are two completely different things. Refer to Aphilly's post and shut your face up, faggot. Now, text pieces, you may be able to put onto a beat, but not all pieces are meant to be put on a beat. Which explains the poetry and open mic. section of this forum.
