Rules: Double Elimination Matchups.


Both drop one punch a piece. I'll do it like this. It will be a best of 3 series. That means you have to beat your opponent 2x.

This is week one, so drop ONE punch. Next week, you will face the same opponent in a rematch. If you lose both matches, then your out. If you win both you advance. If there is a tie, then you have to face your opponent one more week in a tie breaker match.

Battles will be set up Mondays. Check In's due on Wednesday. Failure to check in results in a DQ (I will be watching this). Punches are due on Friday by 11:59 P.M. EST. voting ends on Sunday, 11:59 P.M. EST.

No-Shows

This is for money, so show up



Editing

The first person to drop their punch will be able to edit their punch until the second persons punch. The Second person to drop will have until the first vote is cast to edit their punch.

Feeding

If opponent agrees , then feeding is okay.

Both bars were good bars...ichaboy I liked the rhyme scheme and to me it didn't seem forced. HH same again it wasn't as complex (and I use that word loosely) as ichaboys but it did the job nicely.

HH was more personal, using the link within the 1st bar is always a personal fav of mine despite claims its a played concept...if it works, it works. Period. Ichaboys was more straight punch but lacked the personal touch.

I find these types of battles unfair to go on because its only 2 lines but thems the rules. And purely judging on the bars presented I think HardHitter edged it just slightly purely because the punch was on par with ichaboys but the personal touch and evidencing via links just worked more in my opinion.

He used a post from 5 months ago and asked how he was going to battle a man who "blah blah blah" as his set up and didn't connect his punch with his set up whatsoever. Then his diss was weak wordplay that pretty much said you used to be good. So his punch was basically you said something stupid one day and you used to be good. That's what you voted for, just because he had a link.

I probably could have explained that better I just don't care, it's no wonder people quit battling here.

i didn't really enjoy either one of them

but i thought that HH's diss on Icha, even though it would be considered a 'personl' was pretty whack, considering how long ago he posted that. and that the picture wasn't even of him, it was of Ysdat.

so i'd have to vote for ichaboy...even though his shit wasn't great either
