Untimely Passing Friday night ten o'clock just hopped out tha shower Threw on my 89 Zeek and hopped in tha Eddie Bauer Switchin lanes on 7-5 went Downtown to Belle Isle Unaware I'd be tha target of an act so vile Rode thru a red light, looked to my right...now I'm feelin like Pac Hollow tips hit my ribs, my blood spilled......I was shot Tha led was hot, holes hit my body...now my fuckin frame's whislin Tire's screeched to a hault...now I'm on tha ground twitchin I'm in tha hospital and now it's just a matter of time Til tha last sound I hear is a beep b-4 I flatline Beating ceased, I heard tha beep, now I'm seein white light Outta body experience Got my soul high as a kite Outta This World Penetrating atmospheres as I'm leaving this Earth Flying thru tha cosmo's got me re-livin my birth Philopian tube to first step...cuttin cords and sheddin tears Thru every galaxy I shift I flash back anotha year Milkyway...Andromeda...now I'm all tha way thru middle school Show and tell, Summer Breaks and even four foot pools Ascended to a higher cosmic plane as Friday played again My soul stopped wandering and wondered what eternal place I was in Was it the heaven I imagined.....Flyin angels playin harps??? Or a fire filled hell wit niggaz rockin triple six marks Where do I start??? This place was outta tha norm No sight nor sound of angels, yet no fires took form In a single file line wit red ropes on tha side Saw a room...and heard a booming voice say..."COME INSIDE" Entered tha room and saw tha Heavenly Father in all of his splendor Looked around and felt relief that I saw no site of cinders He said "Well done faithful servant" as wings on my back grew a plenty "You've been faithful over a few things now I'll make you ruler over many" Gates of heaven opened up golden rays came shining down Went to a heavenly paradise...my cosmic destiny was found |
