I would have to say both situations, dude with ugly girl and dude with hot girl are both better off than some guy with no girl and only his right hand (or left for you lefties) to keep him company

Yeah, money is important... but I would hate to think a girl is with me only because of the money. What's she going to do when the money's gone? Take off? Hate to say it, but it could happen to anyone. Those Wall Street investment banker guys from Lehman Bros and Bears Sterns would know all about it.
