Milton area man charged with heroin sales

MILTON – State police have charged a Milton area man with selling heroin at a local convenience store parking lot. Troopers say 25-year-old Kyle Giering is charged with delivery and possession of heroin for the incident in West Chillisquaque Township on October 6th. When police approached Giering, he was found with 31 bags of heroin and more than $280 in cash.

Also confiscated was a hypodermic needle. The sale took place in a school zone, so penalties will be more severe. Giering reportedly admitted to selling heroin and told state police he bought heroin in Philadelphia to sell here in the valley. He was sent to the Northumberland County Prison. (Ali Stevens)
