oh, and spully......when you said they were closing in on the #1 WR in the nation...its Rueben Randle from Bastrop, LA. It would honestly be a HUGE shock to everyone if he went to Oklahoma. His top 5 are LSU, Alabama, Oklahoma, Ok State, and Miami.

He has taken 1 official visit to Oklahoma...most anybody who knows anything about recruiting knows that the Sooners are 3rd on his list. Its a toss up between LSU and Alabama. He has been one of the most quiet recruits ever, and will never give you a lead as to where he is going. His brother posts on rivals...and i can pretty much tell you...Louisiana people are scared to death that he will sign with Bama because of how quiet he is...LA folks dont do well when their own sign with Bama. The last kid, Luther Davis....got death threats and people threatening to burn his house down. But, none of them are concerned with Oklahoma...hate to burst your bubble....but...thats how it is. Sooner fans are definitely holding out hope. but the chances on him signing are about....LSU 49%...Bama 49%..Oklahoma 1%...Miami or Ok State 1%. But, you should get a membership to Rivals so we can kick the shit...i can teach you the ways of recruiting. BTW, Randle is ranked #2 prospect in the nation on Rivals..was just bumped down from no 1 in the final updates yesterday....and i kind of expect him to sign with LSU..just because its really rare to pull a kid away from LSU that lives in LA. But, thats just a gut feeling really.

I don't know son. On this sooners recruiting site I saw some article with him saying he talked to Sam Bradford and Bradford said he'd be coming back. This was like a week or two before he today when Bradford announced he'd be back.

And I forget what else, but there is still some hope lol.

I mean, Oklahoma will be in the top 3 next year now that Mark Sanchez is out from USC. Prolly Florida, Texas, Oklahoma.

Oklahoma will be slim at WR. got some good ones, but lost one 4 star to Texas Tech. I mean it'd be perfect oppurtunity for him to come in, get playing time, AND contend for a national title.

Plus, the HUGE news today that Bradford, Gresham, McCoy, and Williams ALL Decided to come back.

but uhh...pretty much whether he goes to LSU, Bama, or Oklahoma..they are all at opportune times from WR's..he is going to start wherever he goes..it doesnt matter. Lafell just entered the draft for LSU and they are running short on WR's..Julio is the only WR on Bamas freaking roster...but they have a sick WR recruiting class coming in..with or without Randle. And Oklahoma..obviously for the reasons you said.

4 and 5 will be between...

Alabama (because everyone is coming back except for R. Johnson on a top 5 defense..but nobody knows how well the O will do..may be a little overrated to start the season..may not.)

Oklahoma State (because they are going to be brutal next season..the offense anyways)

USC (because they have 4 and 5 star players all over the field..will have a sick running game..oh..and the number 1 QB has committed to them..to go along with like 2 other 5 star QB's they have just waiting around)

and Ohio State (because of Terrelle Pryor and how insanely overrated they are every single fucking year.)

Virginia Tech will get some consideration but they will prob be top 10....that matchup between them and Alabama to start the 09 season is going to be epic...and i will definitely be attending it just as i did the Clemson beatdown this season.

But They ALMOST beat Texas at home, they played Oklahoma till the last 5 minutes. The defense will be their only concern.

But w/e the case, next year will be dope. Harvin left, which will hurt Florida, but they'll be able to manage.

And yea..the Tebow thing annoys the fuck out of me, but if he was playing for Bama i probably wouldnt mind it. I just think the dude is overexposed, and im sure i would think that if he was at Bama. Actually..his recruiting came down to Florida/Alabama..and even Tebow himself will tell you he made his decision at the last second, and was really confused about where to go. Lot of people thought he was going to Alabama. Im glad he didnt..because Mike Shula probably would have kept his job..and Nick Saban would be coaching somewhere else. But..dont worry..he's not coming back next year...he's skipping his senior season and ascending into heaven.

But..really..the loss of Harvin isnt going to be that big of a deal. That defense is returning EVERYBODY on the 2 deep roster. Even Brandon freaking Spikes is coming back. They are going to be 2 times as nasty next season. And not to mention Tebow..all of their receivers (except Harvin)..both of their RB's..and most of their line is coming back. Fucking annoying...oh..and not to mention the 5 star WR's they have that will fill Harvins spot like nothing.

Florida may not even play a close game next year..unless they just arent mentally prepared for a game. Nobody in the country should lose to them by less than 14 pts. Really...the only way they play a close game or lose is if they just come into a game thinking there is no way they will lose...which is possible (see Ole Miss this season). I doubt anyone scores over 24 on that D either.
