SHOUT OUT TO ALL YOU VETS and anyone interested in the O.M
basically I don’t want to just bitch about the state of the
O.M section without proposing an idea on how to make it
more active and more enjoyable, so this is my proposition,
its based on the idea that people will drop more work, if
they get quality feed and recognition for their efforts. I
have been researching other site mags and their main
weaknesses as far is I can see, is they only cater to the
styles they deem valid, a hierarchy if you will. While the
object of this mag will be to encourage versatility, elevation
activity, and quality feed, to the VETS your help and critiques
would be much appreciated, also any one who wants to see
the O.M more active.

Take note of this list, as it will help you to recognize which writers
and pieces to sleep on.

Try to nominate at least one piece for the mag, if you consistently
disregard this request, you may find yourself on this list, you will see
there are plenty of titles to choose from and yes nominating a cock
smoker is acceptable, though ultimately nominating pieces will give
you a better chance of being one of the trinity

The Trinity
the best three repliers to pieces will be rewarded by having a “link”
of their choice , be it there own or a nomination stuck in the mag,
the incentive being, anyone who wishes to be considered for the
mag must give feed to one of the trinities piece’s.

Immaculate flow
Known for laying silk on rhyme, regardless of style, to attain this title
a good syllable count and smoothness in delivery are essential.

Reason for inclusion: the first and most essential weapon in
any emcees arsenal "a good flow". Its not as easy as it seems and
needs to be mastered. Peeps who need to elevate in this area will
benefit from reading one of these scripts, as most are to lazy to
read tutorials, though I am also thinking of adding a link to a flow
tutorial as well.

Multi Menace Madnness
A genius versed in the multiple technique, whilst the constant search
for perfection, marks the path to the ledge of insanity.

Reason for inclusion: these cats who master the multi are some
of the most dedicated lyricists out, as to add a multi and still make it fit
the context of piece…is fucking crazy, and time consuming. Everyone
should attempt this at least once, if for nothing more than appreciating
the skill involved.also thinking of adding a link to a multi tutorial as well.

Vicious Street Swagger
The definition of street, societies conscience or nightmare!

Reason for inclusion: Theres a lot of dudes who start off in hip
hop due to gangsta or commercial rap, and they get hated on for it.
When prolly 90% of us started of that way as well. There is a culture
of dissing cats spitting gangsta or commercial, well fuck that , their
legitimate and the most lucrative. I think if there was a place where
these cats could write without being hated on, over time, if one Pac
or one Nas appears then shits worth it. Plus these cats are usually the
most active until people hate, giving them no time to elevate at all…



Master mic wreckerDazy
Get your ass on the mic, destroy that shit player, the best script
suited to Audio,16 bars meaning lines is the criteria for this title,
why?.....

16. Always has been and always will be 16. Very few labels and
recording studios deviate from this formula because all - and I
mean ALL- rappers get paid per 16. You'll even hear them talk
about it sometimes.

If for what ever reason you were offered a spot on a track,
you'd be getting paid for 16. If you got paid for 16 bars, you'd
be getting paid for 16 lines. If you submit 32 (as you would with
the incorrect 2lines/bar format), half of them won't be recorded.

Weather one verse or an entire piece with hooks, both are equal
in worth, the dopeness will be the determining factor.

Reason for inclusion: seems to be a lil beef raging around
the subject of Mics Vs text…this would give the Audio heads a
chance to get their lyrics evaluated by Audio heads and hopefully
the text heads will read them and want to hear them in audio, also
the audio heads would probably know which kids should try the mic
out and give advice on how to go about it, its win win. Cos don’t
forget if there are no audio heads amongst the Trinity, weather you
like it or not you will have to give feed on text…and you will learn to
appreciate the skill involved no doubt, but the actual point is to learn
from each other.

Master mic wrecker title. Also additions have been made to the
mag, as he will be adding a monthly top ten Hawt tracks as well
as the two best beat makers…why you ask when it’s the O.M mag
Well we will be encouraging audio artists to elevate in their lyrical
content and technique, as well as encouraging text heads to try
the mic out…so audio heads will basically be able to drop a link
after their scripts…while the beat makers are dudes text heads
should look up if they want to try audio…good looks to Dazy…

The dominating force in verse, most versatile, imagery, flow, emotion,
complexity, metaphors, similes, multis, word play, structure, quotes,
depth, originality and also a name for the peice. Utilizing four or
more of these caergories will be needed to attain the title of ...

Reason for inclusion: Elevation, the ultimate wordsmith,
reserved for those on the quest for perfection. This verse will be
the only piece featured in the mag, all others will be links,the
reason being this piece don’t need feed, just read it and learn…

[The Quick fix Mindstate

freestyles, quick keys, beef, disses, text battles are not eligible
for the mag in the normal sense, though I do have an idea. It will
be a thread where you will basically be able to put a poll on your
rhyme, where no feed is needed except for the poll vote which will
read Wack or Crack…hence the quick fix, two links will still be needed,
and the best poll rating will be recognized. Note the Cock smoker rule
will be more lenient in this thread.

Reason for inclusion: well text battles already have a elevation
thread in Frontlines and the LBL as well as the battle, so the feed is
pretty much Guaranteed. Freestyles and quick keys, the quick fix is
along the same vein or train of thought, while beef, and disses usually
get no break downs and hardly get more than lmao or that was wack,
again ideal for the quick fix.

I also have an idea for the first mag, To start the new era and
to give people a better idea of how it works, I need a list of the
dope heads both past and present, if you can remember the best
piece you’ve read, or someone whos crazy with the multis, or
anyone who you think best fits the criteria of the above titles tell
me, for the best advice you will be part of the Trinity… and for
the worst or haters watch yourself you will be first on the Cock
smokers list, heres a list of the titles copy and paste for your
nominations, or just leave some advice thanx in advance.

Ps. If there is enuff support for this, I will send a master proposal
To strobe and Atticus, as hopefully your ideas will help me achieve
this…im allowing two weeks to form a master proposal, aiming for
