Battles up Monday - Check In by Wednesday - Drop by Friday - Votes by Sunday No line limit and the battler with most votes by Sunday night is the winner. If this is a topical battle, write a topical and not a poetic drop and the same is vice a versa. Extensions must be asked for by Thursday night by pming any of the mods (Drakel or Drama Queen or Sokaris). No extensions will be given 4 if asked 4 on Friday night. Extensions are only given till Sunday night at the most. If you dont ask for an extention, and drop whenever you feel like it you will be disqualified. Do not abuse extentions, they are not to be used if you're just too lazy to drop within the confines of the circumstances. Leave reasonable explanation for your absense. If the League notices you are a slacker due to this nature you will be banned for being out-right slothfully callous. Don't ho-show because you will be banned if you do it twice. We can understand you cannot drop due to certain circumstances but if this happens a second time, you're banned from the league for 2 weeks. If you signed up for both leagues and you no-show in one league twice, you will be banned in both leagues! Try to limit the freeposts, we will have a chat/beef thread for that. Just sitting thinking of philosophy, Depression - Obsession - Emotion Sunny beach days staring at the ocean, No nine to five to get in the way, Just being alive is our weekly pay, Gilligans Island all over again, But no escape, no need to return, Depressed - Drugged days Drunken stuppors, stoned glaze Let me count each and every way I've lost the meaning of "today" Eyes wide shut in dark club corners, Distorted reality - pointless orders, These toxins are what poison one's mind, failing to see those of simliar kind, Those who die because they can't addapt, Not living each day - not giving a crap, Dreaming of what is impossible, Selfish dreams - inconceivable, But they're the same just as you or me, They take reality hard - so difficult to be, If we could share identical dreams, We'd rip unique qualities - from it's seams, So what is this poems relavance? Perhaps not understanding this deliverance? Fading fidelity - if you dont already know, Is the lost faith in yourself - no room to grow, I have faith in that I will find that beach, Sit down with someone and begin to preach, Upon the ways life works and how to suceed, All the time thinking outside the box - with weed, A whole day, doing nothing else, Escaping responsibilities, no concern for wealth, Just appreciating each golden breath and sight, Preparing for flight.

Im lost in a maze of sin,
with me eyes closed i walk with "them", heartless siege's of repressed pain, pushed back but not built to contain, all the sin i know i do but i cant refrian, the Lord sees the unwilling and peacefull, and tryes to help the non-believers, but i see not in him what i see in others, an un-gratefull Humans that kill our sisters and brothers, but a life is only surpassed by its un-rivald history, the past in on my ass how it got there is a mystery, Memories of a past youth haunt yours truly, and will live on and eventually screw me, cause my Lost Faith cannot help me in any way, try to ecape a life of past crime but it will alwase stay, like a stain on a clean bleached white rug, it will stay like a naked bitch coverd in wet suds, in the back of my mind, memory revels it in time, 19 but the truth shall be, what sets the Knowing free, a life of extream mental poverTY, find the light and i find the truth in me, all is lost when the fat lady sigs her last tune, one long sustaining note untill i meet my doom, unless i find solice in what is right, i must fight to get to the light, when of course the time is right. . . . . I feel that is a tie right here because both had a nice amount of emotion in their piece, both have a diffent style of emotion though, different way of expressing it which is good... Topic Use: I was feeling Sok's a bit more, I love how he viewed the topic and worked it out but Lyriclesolja had a nice approach as well so this was a close one Imagery: A tie again... Sok's was good because you expressed emotion and immediately gave a clear image of it for instance: What world would that be? Just sitting thinking of philosophy, Depression - Obsession - Emotion Sunny beach days staring at the ocean, Lyriclesolja painted a nice picture too but maybe not as consistent -, I felt it was more a emotional piece you wrote than an imagery one. Vocabulary: Lyriclesolja gets this one, he had more complexity but that doesn't always break a piece. Sometimes I enjoy basic vocab because it expresses a serene vibe. The Good Lines: Sok: Written words with all they can give, Art and Literature is all that we live, Lyriclesolja: all is lost when the fat lady sings her last tune, one long sustaining note untill i meet my doom My vote goes to ~sokaris~ but it was extremly close! Excellent drop by both!

Emotion:
Both had some really good emotions..sok your just lacked alittle bit..it was still good but to Me Ls had better emotions...he just more creativie words and feeling to create a more emotional peice Imagery: iight well this was a hard one but ima have to give this one to ls aswell to me sok you really went painted a picture in my mind ..about what was going on in your drop.. Ls used very detailed n creative words which made the reader image what was happening Vocabulary: I have to say this topic was a draw dont hate on me  Structure: both had good structure but sokaris ..had better structure cus he centered it.. Hmm Sok Okay Here Lyricle Nice Work I Like How You Worded Things Here It's Good That You Said It Well Imagery Hmm Lyricle Lacked A Bit But Sok Took This Category Cause He Expressed More In His Poem Vocabulary Lyricle Got It He Had Better Use Of Words Through Out HisPoem Also Good Rhyming Structure Both Need To Work On That Not Very Good At All Try Not To Center It Make's It Look Weak Over All Lyricle Won In Two Out Of Four Categories And Sok In One Which I Have To Give It To Lyricle
