Paranoid

The Story: A young man named Joe has just committed a murder, his story is as follows...........

In a dark alley, a man and a woman are quietly arguing, things escalade and a vicious exchange breaks out, the man reaches for his knife.....the rest is history


The blood drips into a wide pool, A lifeless corpse at his feet
Wiping his trembling hands off, He thinks, What a fate to meet
The knife limply resting inbetween his thumb and his index
Prison was inevitable, Murder was worse than committing incest
Joe worrily drags the young womans body, To a shadowy spot
In hopes no one would see her, And he wouldnt get caught
Exiting the alley, He notices a police squad in the distance
At that instant, His heart was beating a million times a minute
The police car slowed down to a halt, putting light in his face
His shoes were worn down, He wasnt ready for this chase
A couple seconds later the car dissappeared in the night
He took a few more brisk steps, Than ran quickly in fright
How did something as little as 5 dollars made him commit murder
His intentions were to scare her, He never would have hurt her


Later At Home:

Joe cleared his mind, Forgetting what he did, As if it werent nothing
Paranoid, He searched the dark house, Thinking he heard something
The sound was birds humping, Directly outside of his front door
Smirking, Joe thought "Yes this bitch is dead, I hated that cunt whore"
The next few hours, He sat in the living room with the lights down
Wishing he could have got some money, He would be high now
His state of paranoia would be obsolete, Almost basically absent
Thinking of what he had done, "But hey, Thats all past-tense"
Lights start flashing, "Joe Smith, Come out with your hands up"
Thinking quickly, He stripped.."Gotta get rid of this damn stuff"
He ran to the back of the house, Hoping no one would be there
And for the first time in his life he felt helpless, He could see fear
Now lets be clear, Joe isnt a pansy or anything of that sort
But he's small, Terror in his body when sentenced at court


How It All Ends:

"I aint coming out, You can come get me if you make it through
But i'll release a clip, And connect the dots that i make in you"
He runs to the front again, Hoping for a bit of space to move
"Come out with your hands up, Or you'll be wasted dude"
Paranoid he sits with his hands on his head, wishing it done
If only his body had a way out, He'd give it permission to run
A can of gas breaks through his window, its' use is suffocation
Going through his dirty clothes, Looking for a rag to rub his face in

"Good morning New Hampshire, What a glorious day this will be"
Rubbing his face with his hands, He realizes it was only a dream
