Question About iPods. .

IP: 6EB9 28C9

. .Alright, and so I have a video iPod. I know how to get the songs and all that shit on it, but how do you get the videos on them? Like, I have some music videos, I added them into the library (and so they also show up in the videos section) but when I plugged in my iPod, it wouldn't add the videos. So, how do you do this shit? Anybody know?

You need to update the ipod firmware if its not already done. And sometimes music videos wont show up in the music video section, most stuff just goes to the movies section.

If you'v put them on the music videos section on itunes, they wont show anywhere on the ipod, its all to do with how its coded and shit.

If you want more videos for it aswell, go to www.videoseed.com or www.podtropolis.com

Shits ill. But its torrents and that, cant remember whether you can use em.

just add the videos to the library in the same place where the songs are, and on the ipod it should come up in the videos section

Dude, I just did that and it says. .

"Some of the songs in the iTunes music library, including the song "*Insert video name here*," were not copied to the iPod because they cannot be played on this iPod.

Which, is wrong. . being that there is a videos section on my iPod, and the videos I have are showing up in my iTunes library, as well as the videos section. Also, none of them are in the "Music Videos" section. They're in the regular "Movies" section.

That way is not working and I don't know why.

Alright, I still don't know why this shit won't upload though. I'm not understanding what's wrong with the videos as they are.

Have you tried any other videos?

Some of the earlier attempts at coding vdeos correctly for the ipod fucked up and wont transfer to the ipod, i have a couple of things that wont do it.

If you try updating the firmware and it still doesnt work, try adding differnet videos to it, i'll send you something i know works if need be.

Easy way to do it is, wherever you got it stored on the computer, right click when your inside the folder, and change the view to details. It should say then.

It says it's one of them is .mpeg. . not the 4 part, though and the others are just .mpg. Is there any way to change it or do I have to download shit all over again?

nah you can change it.

You need to use a program to convert them...

I use pspvideo9 but the sound goes off sync sometimes.

theres a tutorial on videoseed.com somewhere on the forums, should have the link to a program to download.
