EVENT TR6's
IP: 9085 E706
Ok i was just over at guitar center...and listened to numerous studio monitors.
I decided on the Event TR6's, and here is what i think of them I listened to the Mackie HR624's.....and yes....i noticed a slight difference....if you have 1200...buy those... if not... the TR6's/8's are AMAZING I now know that even a 320kb mp3 does NOT compare to a wav/cd file... I can hear things in MY mixes that i have never heard b4. This is the thing...people think that since everyone has normal hi-fi speakers and are not gonna be hearing all of these sounds anyways when they listen to the final product then who gives a fuck if they are there....but thats not the way to think... if you have 8 different noises at different frequencies that you DONT hear on the final mixdown on your car stereo or home stereo you might say FUCK it...who cares...but guess what...buy monitors...take them out...eq them .. whatever...and then listen to the final mixdown even on computer speakers.... those frequencies and soudns you cannot hear on regular speakers are STILL THERE and are STILL fucking with the mix of all sounds....therefore interfeering with what you want people to hear... get it? so NO..just because you mix down on computer speakers and think everything sounds great...guess what...buy monitors...then mix and master...and replay the same track on computer speakers..and you WILL notice a difference back to the TR6's.... So clean, So crisp, DEFINITELY worth every penny. If you are not ready to invest over a G in monitors...go with events...they simply blow all the other low price companies out of the water One last thing...why the TR6's and not 8's?...Money?...nope..i had the extra $100...but with the size of the room that im in being medium-small...there is no need for extra wattage and sub size...it's actually worse to have huge speakers in a small room...so remember that when deciding on which model to choose .pz.

thats cool.
I have some m audios and they are pretty good despite what some people here say.... But me myself, i dont see the point of buying 1k moniters, sure if you have the money but even average moniters are still a great improvement. |
