Heart to Heart

I'm consumed by ideas, while the rain and storm adheres…
Flowing softly past, peculiarly the sunshine will forever last…
Casual thoughts seem crazy, only the normality amazes me…
Dire attention is needed for those screaming and pleading…
Only to be fulfilled by one’s with souls less greedy…
From heart to heart, the connection is made…
Like souls being touched by the sight of kids with Aids…
No one can feel their pain; they are alone among the blessed…
So they plead and they plead, just to be noticed…
Your time will come; stay strong with spirits high…
Cause inside your heart is where the key lies…
Never give up, that’s a sign of bowing out…
And only the strong survive, so it’s your time to shout…
Shout your happiness and shout your darkness…
Cause it takes the full spectrum to unlock this…
When times get hard, just know they’ll get better…
When the clouds dissipate, look for the hearty weather…
The truth is in yourself, you know what to do…
So from this heart to yours, always be you!...

True Friends

In suicide is where lies hide //
Mighty strength can’t hide behind //
No one sees the signs //
They’re blinded by the shadows //
Molded into the hearts of the sightless & narrow //
Sent like a sparrow, to let the message be heard //
Touched by the presence and healed by the words //
The cuts seem deeper as the world becomes unbearable //
Like black and white, bodies and souls befall unpairable //
It’s rare that you find two or three worth the keeping //
You know it’s meant to be if your friends can stop the bleeding //
They become the ones that catch you when you fall //
And do unto others if they do you wrong //
Prolonged existence results from something special //
Friends are friends forever as they continue to bless you //
That one true person to console you in the time of need //
That bleeds red blood and sees the world as you see //
Sometimes it gets rough, that’s when you need them the most //
To just pull up a chair, and raise up a toast //
Their tolerance is endless and love insurmountable //
They know they’re appreciated even if your words are less bountiful //
That’s why I say here and now, friends are friends and that’s forever //
