'Guess I be checking in. I can't beleive varentao was serious about forcing me in this dealy. Oh well... maybe I might not be in a creative drought that is my life... or maybe I'll have to pull schieße outta my ass. Not that such a thought doesn't seem appealing in some sick and twisted sexual aspect...

He lays his head down upon the pillow and closes his eyes
The soulfull and free music of bass guitars and saxaphones fade
The electronic precussion peirces his minds eyes
And his conciousness, it all slowly but surely begins to fade

Problem, he can't go to that deep sleep he so desperately needs
Instead, his mind is held in suspension, he is so fucking tired
He cannot get to sleep for some reason, what is it that he needs?
He realizes that in that moment of waking and sleep, he's tired

He can't fall into that universe of slumber that he's held so dear
Instead a spark burns in his mind and he is somewhere unclear
It feels so real, so very real, yet he runs like a galloping dear
He runs through the forest and yet his mind seems cloudy, unclear

And then he collapses like so much drum set falling down
He finally reaches that place of sleep he loved for so long
Eyes eyes are weighted and feel soft like a birds down
He says goodbye to where he was, tata! So long!

It was only a glimpse, and he hopes to be there again
But that alternate universe has become a home away from home
He wakes up of course, and he truly had nothing of a gain
Only the jazz infused apocolyptic turmoil that is his home
