Bottles of posion my body drunk liquor flooding my veins
Black clouds on my soul my minds wrath like storm cluods my tears of rain
...fall down my face into puddles on the cold grey land
Cemical imbalances carry me ......mine are the only footprints in the sand
People stare in my face call me a disgrace i fail to heed thier words
Cuz my life is a foggy vision of shadows and blurs
The drugs and liquor help me forget who i am for the moment
As i sleep on sidewalks and park benches my body cold and frozen
Snow and ice are my bed newspapers my blankets of warmth
But i am free from all laws and boundaries of thought
My food is garbage and hot meals are the hardest to find in my search
But there is a good man with a strong mind under these layers of dirt
Those who work are all suckers like mindless ants on the path of existence
Work,work,work then die think of all of life they are missing
My clothes are the tattered garments of kingly attire
The meek shall inherit the earth so i bask in heavenly fire
My losses cost me nothing i am a better man or so i think
Then i blink..............
and my world crashes upon me as past and future link
One more sip and again im back to my reality away from the lies
But if my life is so good why this burning inside?
Another sip and the pain leaves happiness returns
I feel a soft glow starting to cover the burn
Another sip and i can see them how they envy the life that i have
But as i take more sips my hate leaves and i start to grow sad
So i drink more till the bottles empty yet my thirst is not quenched
But now things start to make just a little bit more sense
So i find more and i drink till my eyes cloud with the brew
And i realize that im in another world.........
yet im in the same world as you
