The K.Stubbs Mag. 2nd Edition


Gentlemen, whats good. First of all i want to thank all of you for showing last week. The 2 or 3 (small numbers =>) that didn't show. Are now booted. I had originally intended to stop signups after week 5. However, i don't feel we have enough people in the league so i'm going to keep the sign up thread open until roughly week 7, or 8. As far as the other general ideas i ran across you all in last weeks mag. They STILL stand. For example
Voter Of The Week. same prize, The whole voting system, you will need to provide links in your checkin. The voting minimum will probably change from 3, to 4 links required depending on how many more people wind up joining the league. So far, most of the heads that were droppin severly wack, have been booted. Off, of count there's really only 1 or 2 individuals left in
the league as of now. That i don't see potential in. However, they do have a couple weeks to show that. As far as battles this week, I see ALOT of good matches. I wish everyone goodluck in their battles. Show, drop, recieve votes or Not. All depends on YOU gentlemen

Week 3 Breakdown


Big Picture 2-0 .vs. TonyTone 2-0

Overall, i don't think either dropped their best this week. Both came pretty played.
Big's 1st punch was way forced and the overall concept was pretty lame. Tony didn't
drop anything impressive either, mostly just a played punch. Concepts were ok. In the
end Tony wound up Walkin away with the win on this.


Alphabetized 1-1 .vs. FlowIntelligent 2-0


This battle had alot of potential. In the end Alpha didn't seem to want the win.
And basically dropped weak, 2 punches that didn't have any thought in them what-
so-ever. Flow actually dropped better then i've ever seen from him. The overall
punches weren't that harsh. But the multi usage, and overall wording... Completely
Shattered Alpha's hopes. Alpha ends up signing out of the league, and losing his
modship. FlowIntelligent streams away with another Win


Brandon Cielasek 2-0 .vs. Thoth 2-0


Haha. Both these gentlemen, i'm quite fond of. Always look forward to seein
what kind of shit they're going to drop Week to week. This matchup showed
little potential at the beginning of last week, and wound up being 1 of the
best matchups. Brandons 1st punch was cleverly worded, but thoth followed
through with some dope nameplay regardless if in the end he wound up pronouncin
it wrong. Still a dope thought, and definately shows potential. In the end, Brandons
2nd punch didn't come through harsh enough. And Thoth runs away with the W. here.


Prycele$$ 1-1 .vs. Rival. 1-1


After pryce seen rivals. punch in the top 5 last week. He pissed is pants, and
wound up not even checking into the match. Axe, you going to have to quit
scaring away our battlers. => Rival Gets the win.


bobericc lyrics 0-1 .vs. Showcase 2-0

My predicted Main Event of last week. Showcase always drops with some of the
dopest punches, and i know bob from rb where he is in the highest potential
league on the whole site. However, bob's 1st punch here was weak...and worded
poorly. The multi usage kind of threw the whole punch off. Showcase followed
through with of course one of the dopest nameplays on bob. That i've seen
against him yet. both individuals 2nd punches were good. At the final moment
Show ended up struttin away with yet another Win, while bob remains defeated


DaTrusHurts 2-0 .vs. Zelph 2-0


Also, intended to be one of my favorite matchups last week. however DaTrus
Came wack, and ended up droppin weak, and for 1nce Zelph dropped
half decsent, and ended up doing both of his bars. However, He was a
day late, so in the end the W for him had to be overturned and given to DaTrus... Therfor..DaTrus
cops another win


Tebo 1-1 .vs. E Looch 0-2


Both individuals here, failed to show potential. Therefor both
got booted.



K.Stubbs 1-1 .vs. Lay Fear 1-1


Finally my biggest disappointment. I thought i had a pretty good
shot here actually after seein who i was up against. But failed
To think of a fairly good concept. I attempted some strong wordplay
on his name, but threw it off on wording. Both of lays punches
were mediocre. So, what do i do...Drop wack/played as ALL FUCK
on my 2nd bar. Leavin Lay The W'



Popcorn 0-2 .vs. Lampejo. 1-1


Pop to me actually shows potential. or maybe i just see it in him.
For that reason, i've kept him in the league. Lampejo. on the other
hand i was glad to get rid of. Lamp boooted for no showing/as well
as not showing potential. Pop gets the no show in here.


Jonny Hustle 1-0 .vs. K.ontroverz.Y 0-0


A matchup i thought would end up being close, wound up bein
a one sided battle. Jonny didn't come near as clever as his
first weak here, and Kon surprised us all...by droppin 2
good bars that were worded strongly. The overall concepts
were ok, nothing real harsh. But definately turned a few
heads in the league. Kon Catches the Win here.


Jay-Brook 2-0 .vs. -Coop- 0-0


This battle SHOULD have been the dopest. When i had the whole
roster set up last week. I immediately thought of you two being
against each other. I know you both rather well, from rb. In the
end Jay's old side came out, and his errors came with his wording
Coop, didn't drop his best. But came up with a good bar by feeding
Which is this leagues main focus point. To show, if you got that
kind of power. And Yes, Mario. took it from Luigi here. Coop's
powerful wording grabbed him his 1st win.


Jonathon 1-1 .vs. Kwik. 0-0


Sigh, I look forward to seein cleverness from jon. But his opponent
was Kwik to sign in, and kwik to no show. Jon boy made him shit
his drawers here. J' takes the no show win.


Shiest 0-0 .vs. Defined 0-0


Weakest battle of the week. By Far. Hence, one of the remaining
members that needs to show potential in the next 2 weeks or you
will be booted just like defined. Sheist edges out with the win
here.

DaTrusHurts- definately the first time, that i feel. You didn't try
at all. Your first punch was completly simple, nothing harsh about it.

Closing Statements


We do have a couple new comers this week. I want to thank them for joining.
I look forward to seeing more potential added to the league, we've cut back
on no shows. So i expect all you new battlers to show. There no longer will

don't think your going to show, for whatever reason. Just pm me, or post
it in your battle. I see alot of potential matchups this week, Just as last week.
However, i recieved more disappointments then anything. We have many good battlers
But we have many battlers, that @ times...aren't dropping to the best of there
abilities. Even i'm apart of that group. Lets try to change this. Drop hard
