Rules: Double Elimination Matchups.

Both drop one punch a piece. I'll do it like this. It will be a best of 3 series. That means you have to beat your opponent 2x.

This is week one, so drop ONE punch. Next week, you will face the same opponent in a rematch. If you lose both matches, then your out. If you win both you advance. If there is a tie, then you have to face your opponent one more week in a tie breaker match.


Due Dates

Battles will be set up Mondays. Check In's due on Wednesday. Failure to check in results in a DQ (I will be watching this). Punches are due on Friday by 11:59 P.M. EST. voting ends on Sunday, 11:59 P.M. EST.

No-Shows

This is for money, so show up



Editing

The first person to drop their punch will be able to edit their punch until the second persons punch. The Second person to drop will have until the first vote is cast to edit their punch.

Feeding

If opponent agrees , then feeding is okay.

MD- Please dont put " " around things that are refrences, they aren't neccessary...another thing i dont like or suggest is the '.........' punches, they make your punch seem really forced.

LP-I dont see how party and slobberying rhyme at all??? seemed like a rushed punch.

as far as your punches go...

MD-I liked the concept as far as trying to make a current punch work, it could have been alot harder, wish you would have made more of a connection with water on his brain and LP stronger, becuase i guess maybe i dont understand how water on his brain is a hard punch?? I did like the pakistan connection, its just, you made a refrence to something thats happening, and tried to just throw LP in their.

LP-Your punch started off strong, but the Toga party thing just ruined it....like car smashing into a wall....tottally killed your punch.

Alright.. well first off, I agree with Cola on the use of quotation marks. If you're not quoting something, they're useless and look completely gay.

The whole.. "......." punch style doesn't make punches seemed forced if used correctly. It's used for certain styles of punches, in this case it doesn't work. It's best used when you want a pause in your punch that's more effective than a comma.

The whole play on natural disasters.. that shit is really old.. I mean I was doing it 5 years ago..

This was too easy man. It's really just calling somebody gay. I get the wordplay but it's nothing spectacular, it's flow is off and it's rhyme scheme... well it doesn't even exist.

I've seen you do way better than this and I thought you were going to come fire after my advice from last week, but I guess it is what it is.

when i saw mad dogg's punch i see some attempt at something deep.. but i see that same attempt in LP's.. tie here. now onto wordplay.

useless information without language here; MD used a metaphor, "like", which is hardly acceptable even in audio street battles these days. It's gotta be real sick to use a 'like' punch, so that sickness can cushion it's downfall with your choice of using that specific word.. LP's had implication with the toga party.

I just don't see any way, by evaluation of the choice of word inclusion and structure, that LP does not take this.

nawh I got that I attributed pakistan to "fluid on the brain" i just didn't need to write it because it was a single wordplay connection... so don't get that twisted with what it was.
