Aight it's been awhile since i dropped anything, i'm a little rusty, anywho this goes to the beat for "sing for the moment", hence the title...this is just a rough draft, and it's not finished.....

everynight i sit a home thinkin about my perfect life
so much anger built up, so i pick up a pen and write
lyrics on the page and release some rage
angry self watchin the ink sribble down on the page
i'm wondering where my friends have gone, it's like.....
now that ive go a job, it's like i've done something wrong
but what they don't understand, i'm trying to move on
that's why it's been awhile since i wrote a fuckin song
if you don't understand me then how can you judge me
and when you walk by me, why ya always gotta nudge me
like you got something to prove and something to show
it's clear to me we're no longers friends, i know we're foes
i tried to talk with you, tried to sort this shit out
but i guess it's not meant to be, i'll have to live without
so until we finish this nothing will ever be fine
sit back relax, cause i'm still not done with this rhyme

rhyme with me, rhyme for the year
rhyme for the laughter, rhyme for the tear
rhyme with me,just for today
maybe tomorrow, the good Lord will take you away

now lets move on, come on now we gotta get real
every lyric i write, you know it's how i feel
whether it's emotion, dissing, whatever i share
there's atleast one line in my rhymes you can compare
your life to, "like damn...i can relate to this"
so you continue to read and listen as you reminisce
