section is done is like i said fucking crazy, these lines were very
interesting to me...

A medical kit is quickly thrown to her side
Along with a flashlight
An axe?

these three lines just felt deep, i saw the medical kit as him tryin
to salvage the relationship, while the flash light was like hope,
and the axe became his desperation, which for me made the
whole piece make sense...i started to see the piece in a whole
new light...the connections throughout suddenly became clear
i saw everything as metaphors for a relationship in trouble,
the diamonds bluff...for me became divorce...which correlates
with the third stanza, i have theories on the others but its the
ending im having the most problems with...if im on the right
track...are they at the divorce table or have you twisted the
ending to a prequel to when they first got married, its the
jokers dismay line thats throwing me...and if im totally wrong
sorry bout that…but at least you know I saw something in
this piece and I enjoyed it…engaged the mind…dope

thanks for the dope feed brother. you pretty much nailed it. the guy who posted beneath you can answer ur question regarding the last bit. it was based on a kind of saw theme - however i did try to tie in a lot of metaphors.

the story is about a man who throws away true love - hence the divorce - which is mainly due to his gambling obession and neglect for his familiy. his kid then sees this shit goin on, and it affects him negatively - hence why he brings them back together with life on the line. the ending symbolizes their death - and how they can finally love and lay together in peace. The joker, of course, represents his son. while the king and queen are husband and wife
