Intro

Damn, dope week overall. There was a minimum of no-shows, a lot of sign in’s and things are looking real dope for the time being. The special event is looking really good, a lot of dope battles which I shall go over later and there’s some tight regular battles as well. As last week seemed to be a turn around week, I’m gonna go over some of the rules and features this league has, to refresh you all of them lol.

Word, let's get it poppin' up in this motherfucker.

Right so, first of all I just want to give mad props to Kempo. The league has been going for what now, about 14-15 weeks which is remarkable considering the shitness of leagues that usually pop up on this site. The fact that you've kept the league going this long, kept it active, and not had like week after week of no-shows with only like 2 actual battles is impressive.

But, lets not take anything away from the battlers... you all have been putting in the verses and voting, or at least some of you have. Now, lets talk about that voting... why is it that there are still cock-heads in the league who just refuse to vote. And don't make out like you are too busy, because the dudes that don't vote enough, I see them on the site like every fucking day of the week. Pull your fingers outta your asses and drop some votes. And stop fucking voting purely on the battles with your e-buddies in. Fucking battles are still receiving like only 3 votes, EXAMPLE: So.Rell vs. SlicKnife... every battle should be getting at least 5-6 votes minimum in my opinion.

Onto the battling though, basically put it is ILL. I think that if you went through this league you would find more ill verses than you would find anywhere else on this site through the 2+ years it has been going.

The level of competition is immense, but really, SOMEBODY NEEDS TO BEAT BUTLER. I know the guy is like "totally awesome" to you guys, but fuck.. he ain't unbeatable and I know that there are at least 6 or 7 people, maybe more who could beat him if they just FUCKING TRIED HARDER. And consistency people, why is it that people like JTR, SPuL and N.Tavarez, who I know to be dope battlers are dropping fire one week, and then straight ass the next week. I understand that against some people you don't need to drop so hard, so I can let that go. But, some of you are acting like dumb fucks and underestimating people that you really shouldn't, and then you get owned.

Onto the Cypher, it is doing well, I still think that more people should get involved with it. Otherwise you are just going to have the same people every week claiming them free wins. And you say there is no point to it, FUCK MAN... what is wrong with a free win? You'll soon see yourself rocketing up the rankings that way.

Finally though, I would like to address the gay people in the league. We'll start with rexless, dude... do you know what criticism is? If so, you should really move on to learning how to take some. Seriously, stop fucking whining like a 3yr old every time somebody doesn't vote for you. And I don't give a fuck if you get KO'ed in every match, you fucking suck right now and need to elevate. People are trying to help you, but you ignore them and bitch.. if you continue you will suck forever. And, the other two homosexuals that come to mind are Feeble Minded and Marcus Aurelias... you two claim to be "DOPE" and shit, and I know that Feeble is real good anyway... so why the fuck are you NOT granting extensions. That is completely bitch... and you DAMN WELL KNOW IT!! Stop being gay pussies and battle properly.

That is all I have to say for now. I may have more next week, or the week after that. But for now you can live with my words, and deal with your gayness. All except for those who are doing well and not sucking cock every week like bitches. Peace out motherfuckers!!

Existing Rules Rundown

- You must vote on 4 battles, if this is not done then you will lose your own battle.

Host Battles

- If two battlers from outside the league want to battle, yet they don’t want to sign up for the league and they don’t want to battle in Front Lines, then they may sign up for a host battle in the league. The league will host the battle and in return the two battlers must vote on 5 battles.

The Champions Magazine Section

- The champ of the league will get their own section in the magazine. In this section they can do whatever they want, from advertising to writing an article it will be allowed.

Magazine Advertisement

- Anyone will be able to advertise in the magazine by voting on battles. If a battler is in the league then they must vote on 4 additional battles (Voting on 8 battles overall) to advertise in the mag. If they are not in the league then 6 battles must be voted on to advertise in the mag. If you show consistently for 6 weeks then you will also be able to advertise in the magazine.

Designated Battler

- If a battler contributes to the league enough, then for a week they will be chosen as designated battler. This means that everyone in the league must vote on the designated battlers battles. Anyone who fails to do so will lose their own battle.

Bye Week

- If a battler feels they have contributed enough to the league, then they can request a bye week. They will have a win added to their record, yet they will not have to battle that week.

You can write a column for the magazine about anything you want, just submit it to me via PM.

LBL Championship match: 1. Butler (9-0) vs 2. Mercules (5-0)

This was a tight battle. I got it at about 5 quotables a piece, which is pretty good. Butler dropped first and he dropped nice as always, he had a cool little section about a horror movie that he made two ill bars out of. Mercules dropped and his verse was nice as well, he had a couple of bars where he got at Butler’s hilariously stretched setups which were both dope. This was a pretty close battle and it looked like it could go Merc’s way as he went 2-0 up but in the end Butler took this 6-3.

LBL Contendership Match: 3. N.Tavarez (8-1) vs 4. Sonny Dimebags (4-1)

Pretty nice battle here. Cept his quotables though, Tavarez didn't have anything of note. Sonny had a more consistent verse and more quotables so he gets this.

Due to that vote Sonny ended up winning this 5-4 in a pretty big upset.

5. So Rell (11-6) vs 6. SlicKnife (6-1)

Ok battle here. Sorta one-sided though. Slick dropped first and his verse was ok, he had a couple of nice quotables in an outcome bar and a dope man stroke woman bar. Rell had a gassed up bar but apart from that I wasn’t really feeling anything else. This ended up 1-0 to SlicKnife as Rell fed a bar. SlicKnife won 1-0.

7. Untold (3-0) vs 8. Marcus Aurelias (2-2)

Untold dropped late and Marcus didn’t grant an extension. Marcus won.

9. Shake-Zula (8-2) vs 10. Nasdeey (3-3)

Very onsided battle. Nasdeey dropped first and had nothing of note. As Mercules said he’s pretty creative it’s just his punches don’t hit at all. Shake had a couple of nice hunger bars and a caveman bar that was nice. He got this very easily and won 9-0.

11. D.Stroyer (2-1) vs 12. DaTrusHurtz (2-0)

This battle was pretty weak. D.Stroyer dropped first and his verse didn’t have much, he had a cell phone bar that was pretty cool though but it was worded poorly. DaTrus didn’t drop much better, he had a bar about Stroyer stealing his bars that was aight, yet he was more consistent throughout his verse so he got this 7-0.

13. Gopha (6-2) vs 14. Erel Avent (6-1)

Pretty eh battle considering it should have been good. Erel dropped first and he didn’t drop great, had a dick bar that was pretty good. Gopha dropped and he dropped worse, his best bar was a lawn mower bar. So yeah, not much in this battle and it was 4-4 by the time voting closed. Yet Gopha didn’t vote so Erel won.

15. JTR (9-6) vs 16. John Hensley (1-0)

John Hensley no-showed. JTR won.

17. Original (1-0) vs 18. Defcon_5 (1-0)

Wasn’t feeling this battle. Defcon dropped eh, he started dissing some other dude called Original who he’d battled years ago lol. Original dropped worse though and Defcon woulda won this by a lot but he failed to vote. Therefore Original picked up the win.

19. Precize (1-0) vs 20. Yung Impression (1-0)

Precize no-showed. Yung Impression won.

21. SPuL (1-0) vs 22. Revelationz (1-0)

Revelationz no-showed. SPuL won.

23. Nick Fletcher (1-0) vs 24. rexless (2-4)

Strange battle. Nick went way ahead in votes and was flawlessing rexless, but then he got pissed at something and edited his verse out which means a no-show. Therefore Rexless won this via no-show.

25. ClasSick (3-0) vs 26. Euthanize (2-2)

Not a bad battle. Classick dropped first and his verse was alright. Had a couple of bars that were good like the 970 bar and a close ya mouth bar. Euthanize came worse but still ok, he had a hair texture bar that was pretty cool. But Class was just better all round and got this 5-0.

27. Rae Report (1-3) vs 28. Ill.Eyes (0-1)

Rae Report no-showed. Ill Eyes won.

29. Jonathon (0-1) vs 30. K.ontroverz.Y (0-1)

Wow this was awful lol. Jon dropped first and had nothing of note, seems like he has potential but at the moment he’s not dropping anything good. Kon was the same really. For me personally there wasn’t much to divide the two but in the end neither voted so both lost haha.

31. Malicious (0-1) vs 32. Ken`Pho (0-1)

Ken dropped and he dropped weak. He had nothing of note in his verse and he used far too many similes as was pointed out to him by some voters. Malicious dropped better, he was more creative and his style is generally tighter. Malicious won 4-3.

33. Phryme (4-1) vs 34. §aNK-TiON (0-0)

Sank-Tion no-showed and Phryme won.

35. Nash (0-0) vs 36. Mystic (0-0)

Mystic’s style is awful. He used 3 fucking quotes in his verse and it made it read through like shit. His punches were also pretty poor as well. Sort out a proper style first man, and don’t ever do that quote shit again. Nash didn’t drop great either but he was definitely better. Seems like he rushed as well. Nash won this 9-0.

37. Brock Sampson (0-0) vs 38. WillNova (0-0)

Brock dropped first and he dropped ok. Had a Bruce Lee bar that was pretty cool. Other than that though his verse was mostly average. Will dropped and I dunno whether or not his verse was a no-show verse. It was a song verse though whatever it was so it’s confusing. No punches at all. Brock Sampson won this easily, and got it 7-0.

LBL July Special Event: Independence Week

LBL Championship Match: 1. Butler (10-0) vs 2. Sonny Dimebags (5-1)

Butler has been on a fucking roll lately. He’s got best verse of the week for like the past month running, which quite frankly is becoming quite embarrassing. Ya’ll need to step it up and start dropping on his level as he’s just merking everyone who he’s battling. Sonny dropped nice last week but he won’t beat Butler in this. Butler to win.

LBL Contendership Match: 3. SlicKnife (7-1) vs 4. Marcus Aurelias (3-2)

Marcus is only here cos he didn’t grant 2 extensions, so he really shouldn’t be here at all. If he did grant the extensions his record’d be like 1-4 right now. Slick dropped ok last week but he’ll get this pretty easily.

Audio Battle - Ace Heratoga vs Daubs vs Tony Brown

I’ve never heard an audio by Tony Brown so I dunno what to expect from him. Ace is pretty nice and Daubs is average from what I’ve heard of him. So I’ve got Ace taking this pretty easily.

Basketball Battle - Out Writechas (Tracy McGrady) vs Roger Glocks (Vince Carter)

This should be a tight battle if both drop to their best. I found out not so long ago though that Glocks has been around since 2000 lmao. I thought he had only been battling for like a year, how wrong I was. But yeah, Glocks is probably better than Out Writechas but it should be a good battle. I’ve got Glocks taking this though.

Beef Battle - COM vs DaTrusHurtz

OoooooooooOOOOOooooooooooOOOOOOOOhhhhhhhhhh. BEEFY! This beef was kinda funny, it’ll probably have cooled off now cos we had to wait for this but it should still be a decent battle regardless. It’ll be hot if DaTrus drops to his best as he ain’t been dropping all that nice in the league so far. COM is more experienced though and regarded as better so I’ve got him taking this.

Picture Battle - Chrit vs ClasSick

I’m not too sure if Chrit will even show in this. I’m gonna remind him over on RB and stuff though and try and make sure he does, but he could ignore me. I think Classick is the better battle though, so I’ve got him taking this either by no-show or just by winning.

Random Picture Battle - Erel Avent vs Rush Lingo

This should be funny. If you checked the pics that I posted, they are funny as fuck. Should result in a decent battle. Rush is really motivated lately though and Erel didn’t drop great last week, so I can see Rush taking this.

Tag Team Battle – JTR & SPuL vs Nick Fletcher & Untold

Pretty tight to see a tag team battle in this event, I think it may be the first yet in an LBL special event. This should be good and it’s hard to predict a winner. I’m gonna guess Fletcher & Untold though cos they seem more up for it.

UK vs US Battle - KempoMRK vs So Rell

We’re going 24 for this, it should be pretty tight.

Weedhead Battle - JTR vs N.Tavarez

Mad creative battle here. All the lines have to be about weed. Should be real good and GROUNDBREAKING STUFF! Quite hard to predict a winner though, JTR seems more motivated about it though so I’ve got him taking it.

Normal Battles

5. Shake-Zula (9-2) vs 6. Erel Avent (7-1)

This’ll be dope if both drop to their best. Shake has been dropping some good stuff lately where as Erel is on a sort of downward slope as such, he can drop dope when he wants but lately I don’t think he has been. For that I’ve got Shake taking this.

7. JTR (10-6) vs 8. Original (2-0)

This shold be JTR vs Defcon_5 if Defcon had of voted. But he didn’t so Original is here, which is pretty good for JTR cos Original ain’t great really. JTR should pick up the win here fairly easily and move into the champ match.

9. Mercules (5-1) vs 10. N.Tavarez (8-2)

This also depends on motivation and from some of his posts lately, it seems like Tavarez ain’t really in a battling mood. Therefore I’ve got Mercules taking this, if Tavarez does show up and drop nice though it should be a good battle.

11. Yung Impression (2-0) vs 12. SPuL (2-0)

You never know what to expect with Yung. Some weeks he can drop decent, other weeks he can drop ass. SPuL is more liked as a battler though and this is his homesite so I don’t see him losing here.

13. Rush Lingo (8-5) vs 14. Phryme (5-1)

Tight battle here. Both have the potential to be league champ, it just depends if they drop to their best or not. This is another hard battle to predict as it could go either way, but as I said before Rush is super motivated at the moment so I’ve got him taking this.

15. rexless (3-4) vs 16. ClasSick (4-0)

lol, this’ll be murder. Classick will absolutely flawless the fuck out of rexless and win by a lot of votes.

17. Feeble Minded (4-1) vs 18. Ill.Eyes (1-1)

Feeble is back in the league after no-showing a couple of weeks back, and I’m sure he wants to win the title. Ill is ok but he ain’t as good as Feeble. Feeble should take this comprehensively as long as he votes and shows.

19. Malicious (1-1) vs 20. Nash (1-0)

Malicious dropped meh last week and Nash prob dropped even worse, but I think Nash is better from what I’ve read of his before. So I’ve got Nash taking this. Could be close though.

21. Brock Sampson (1-0) vs 22. Nick Fletcher (1-0)

This should be tight. Brock dropped alright last week but nothing was really dope, where as Nick is generally always consistent. For that reason I’m gonna go with Nick to win this but it should be a close and tight battle.

23. Untold (3-1) vs 24. Nasdeey (3-4)

Nasdeey is creative but his punches don’t hit much at all. Untold should be in the contendership match but Marcus didn’t allow the extension so he ain’t. Untold will get this easily even though Nasdeey is improving.

25. D.Stroyer (2-2) vs 26. Gopha (6-3)

Gopha was impressing me a couple of weeks back but he seems to have cooled off lately. He still has some decent bars here and there but he hasn’t been dropping consistently nice stuff. He’s better than D.Stroyer though so Gopha should win this.

27. Defcon_5 (1-1) vs 28. Precize (1-1)

Neither probably give a fuck about this battle so I haven’t got high hopes for it. Defcon is pissed cos he lost as he didn’t vote. And Precize checked in a couple of times but didn’t drop a verse last week. Ehh...Defcon to win.

29. Revelationz (1-1) vs 30. Euthanize (2-3)

Euthanize is pretty decent, he’s getting better by the week as well. I ain’t read much of Revelationz so I’ve got Euthanize taking this.

31. Jonathon (0-2) vs 32. Ken `Pho (0-2)

Both dropped weak as fuck last week. I think Ken is probably the better battler though so I see him taking this.

33. K.ontroverz.Y (0-2) vs 34. Mystic (0-1)

Mystic needs to sort out his style and stop using those stupid quotes before he wins. Kon is more experienced and should take this with ease.

Fuck knows what the hell Will dropped last week. Shit was like a topical freestyle or something. Marv should get this easy.

I have no clue who LMAOffender is, fucking strange name though. Daubs should win this.

Iono who Typical is where as L.I. recently got voted in as a legendary member on RV. That was for his past glories though, he sorta fell off lately but he’s still decent. LI to win this.

I have no clue who either of these battlers are. So a random guess is D.I. to win. Well sorta random, I’m guessing him cos he’s been around longer.

45. pictureperfect2 (0-0) vs 46. Meters (0-0)

pictureperfect usually drops some good stuff in his verse, he just needs to get more consistent and not drop awful bars as well. I dunno who Meters is. Pictureperfect2 to win.

47. Jae Blockz (0-0) vs 48. Oz. (0-0)

I dunno either. Guess = Oz.

49. Wordz Ahgod (0-0) vs 50. LyricALI (0-0) vs 51. Penlord (0-0)

Penlord is someone from RapExclusive and he’s pretty good. Wordz is aight from what I’ve read but he’s still pretty new. Lyricali, fuck knows who he is. So Penlord should take this fairly comprehensively.

Don’t Sleep On

Brock Sampson – He didn’t drop amazing last week, but he can drop real good on his best day.

Untold – Should be in the contendership battle but got dicked out of it. Will be moving up the rankings soon no doubt.

Pictureperfect2 – He usually drops a couple of dope punches per verse, but as I said he just needs to work on consistency.

Penlord – He’s pretty nice from what I’ve read of him, and it’ll be interesting to see how he does in this league.

Top 10 Power Rankings

10. Feeble Minded – Could be near the contendership battle if he didn’t no-show a couple of weeks back. He’s a nice battler and will be near the champ match soon.

9. ClasSick – Should run through this league until he gets to the champ match. He’s dope, enough said.

8. Phryme – Just behind Rush but Phryme could champ this league one day. He usually drops dope stuff and if he consistently drops like that then he’ll do really well.

7. Rush Lingo – As I’ve said twice before, he’s really motivated to battle lately and it shows in his verses. He’s a dope battler when he wants to be, and he wants to be at the moment. Watch the fuck out.

6. Mercules – Quite a lot of people thought he won against Butler last week which is dope, as Butler often flawlesses most people he faces. He’ll be in the champ match again soon no doubt.

5. JTR – If dude gets properly motivated he’ll do well in this league, he just has to drop to his best and then he will do well. Good battler when he does.

4. Sonny Dimebags – He surprised me last week by dropping a pretty hot verse. I doubt he’ll beat Butler but he’s definitely someone to not sleep on as Tavarez found out.

3. Shake-Zula – Been dropping hot for basically all of his time in the league, was unlucky to lose against Butler a couple of weeks ago in my opinion as he dropped an ill verse then. Will be in the champ match soon.

2. SlicKnife – He’s above Sonny as I see Slic winning his battle and then moving into the champ battle. Slick sometimes comes dope, other times he comes average. As long as he comes decent this week he’ll win his battle but he’ll have to come really dope to beat Butler.

1. Butler – As I said in his battle prediction, he has been owning this league for the past month or so. I think he’s now the longest reigning champ or he is very near taking that record. And I don’t see him losing this week either. Will prob be champ for quite a while.
