Father I'm Lost!

Alienated from the world, it seems I'm about to lose my composure
My father passed away last month, and now I'm searching for closure I decided to take a walk in the forest to try and clear my mind I remember climbing this tree with my father, I must have been nine See I broke my leg that day, my father carried me 3 miles on his back He taught me the worlds a colorful place, not everything's white and black Hey I carved my name in this tree, with my fathers silver utility Knife He taught me so much about this forest, and so much more about life He told me "Son were like trees so always remember your ROOTS" How could I ever forget where I came from, or even fill his large boots I followed the path for at least 5 miles, till it came to a treacherous Y "Dad you told I'd have to make choices, you never told me you'd DIE"! I chose to take the left fork on the path till I came down to the stream Praying if I closed my eyes tight enough, I'd wake up from this dream I screamed from the top of my lungs, "God Please show me the Light" I've been walking this forest for Hours, and now its almost NIGHT What used to seem so familiar, now seems like such a strange place "I could never be my Father, even though I have a similar face" Suddenly out of nowhere I heard a noise and a strong voice interjected I was startled at first, but then I tried to remain cool, calm and collected It was a voice of my father, I tripped over a rock, stumbled and fell He said "Son your a man now", I said "Father you taught me so well" But Dad "I'm lost in this Forest, could you just show me the way" "Son use your heart as a compass, and you will never go astray So as I continued along the path, I heard the echo of his laugh Even though I couldnt see in front of me, I knew I was on the right path

Problems arising when them door knocks erupt and its da five O in da drive man what da fuck "Fuck OH NO i'm only 17 this can't be good" jumped da fence ended my ass all up in da woods no catchin me, pace myself so no chasers win but they way behind i'm already 2 acres in pitch black, so i can see in front of me barely in my whole life da hood aint neva been dis scary sayin i aint scared would just be more denying but the darkness of dis shit is straigh horryifing i sit and let my mind wonder in theese wet leaves but for miles all around all i see is dem trees i hear branches snap, and i turn my head to look swear i saw a bear, coulda been that acid i took screamin loudly but no one seems to hear my words so i light up da j, just to calm theese nerves no i'm chillen, shaken, more paranoid than ever hopin someone finds me soon it'll prolly be never think'n i should get up and maybe start to run or should i just chill here and wait for da sun i wishen i was at home straight chillen in my room fuck it when da sun hits i'm up lookin for shrooms cuz this night was tight, then amounted to sucken and i aint spendin da night here for fuckin nothin so i sleep easy, cuz i wasted beyond recognition hopin dis night to ruin my future in spittin sun rises this night went opposite of my way looked to my left 50ft was da fuckin highway shit if i knew where i was where would i be fuck it next time dem po's can give me a m.i.p. |

A'ight...I think hands down Vango took this. Imagery was nice...I felt your verse all tha way dawg. You had the vocab...and you had the wordplay. You kept it nice and simple...not trying to force any multies into them. Structure was off at points...but it still flowed good. Accomplishment...your verse I wasn't feelin' that much. Imagery was there...but it wasn't as deep and moving as Vango's. Structure and flow were perfect...hot topical.

Vango - wow...that was a really dope verse....surprised the hell out of me...u had great imagery and a very creative story....the color green which represented the forest also was cool...that shit was deep and emotional....i liked this verse alot....one of the best topicals ive seen on this site....no doubt....give it a 9.8/10....
Accomplishment - pretty basic lines...nothing special...more of a quick storyline istead of something deep...part that was really bad was wen u said u were screaming ur lungs out and then lit up a J...why would u do that....i mean seriously lmao....but okay drop....wasnt close to vango's.....nice try.....give it a 4.3/10... Vote - VanGo Can both of yall hit up my topical with spul in this tourny? thanks |
