Buying a Mic Info

Aight, I'm gonna buy a condensor mic for $60. I believe I need a pre amp right? How will this all work? I'm clueless.

Okay I'm going to attempt to help you out. Not sure about pre-amp's cause I know a few people who bought one and still needed to buy an interface. What I do know, is that if you buy an interface you won't have to buy anything else. Hope that helped out a little.

60 dollas aint a real mic lol
But if you gonna get dat 60 dolla mic you gonna just need a preamp dat has phantom power, which u may be able to find one for 60, but cheapest ive seen is 100.

^Thats what it was. Phantom power. Yeah if your pre-amp has that, the it should work. As for mics I would suggest that you get the umm MXL 990/991 package on musiciansfriend.com. Its only $99 and it has both the 990 and 991.
