Run debates like battles, w/votes, check-ins, etc.
Who ever sets up the debate will set the issue, positions to be taken on the issue, amount of time to accept the battle, amount of time to respond, and the number of responses per person
After the debate, voters give EXPLAINED votes (not their opinions on the issue) about who won the debate

just an idea... it would prolly be at least as popular as graphics battles
