even tho ive got mad respect for the man, and i appreciate his lyrics as a work of wordly greatness, you gotta sumtimes wonder whether this guy is goin a bit over the top with all the scientific and mathematical terms....i understand what hes sayin, but i have problems sumtimes catchin on to what the fuck his point is in a song...i mean, im not stupid or anythin, but is it necessary to talk about telescopes and thermodynamics and astrophysics in RAP? post ur opinions... and plz none of the "ur stupid" type of stuff

someone lays tracks down that contain substance, and not about where they're from and who's gangsta, classifies as a nerd? then, i'm down with the 'nerd' movement. Cannibus is sick, but he I personally don't think he's all that intelligent (nerdy). He spits cleverly. his song 'nigganometry' was funny but not exactly kicking knowledge.

hes talened no doubt but I find him very annoying...
hes clever and can match his words up well and is in his own world as far as lyrics... but I think his world sucks theres so many genres of hip hop that are listen worth.. maistream and underground....as for beats he gets shitted on...if he does n acapella cd like lauryn hill... :thumbs up:....if not dont wanna hear it dont pull a what type of music do you listen to card either cause I listen to just about everything...canibus sucks... I dont care if he can rhyme words he woud never say in real life....aesop rocks problem as well.. which makes them boring emcees..talent aside but it would be gay if aesop completely copied el-p's style.. whos ten times better broke of from company flow... who remembes seeing end to end burner on bet? as for canadas emcees id rather hear saukrates kardinal officals gay ass belly dancer song wih pharell on the hook.. swollen members...kos....many more.. or just everyone from canada..... many should blow soon.... you want an example of over the top from canibus listen to the track liberal arts with jedi mind tricks. i thought ikon the hologram was too complicated but listen to canibus in that. it starts off easy. then he goes my empytheteyel (or somethin) genetic fiber was forged in the protoplasmic fires of the black geyser. it makes sense but damn i got a high vocabulary but what the fuck was that first word he said?? hes not a "nerd". and he prolly didnt learn that shit in school either. iono if its like this in all big cities but when i went to school in norfolk, va (1,000,000 + ppl) i found out their curriculum was garbage when i moved out to this medium sized city. only like 300,000-400,000 ppl out here in f town. he wouldnt be able to make radio shit. the streets arent ready for shit like that. so in that sense to less educated individuals hes a nerd. imagine how much more listeners rap would have if ppl like canibus did make it mainstream though. |
