Nobody likes rules, but without them ANY league will fall apart. Nobody caring an no showing, or being too lazy to vote on other peoples battles. Swaying, or even insufficient voting. So here are the official rules for the season.




-Check in's.
All check in's will be due by Wednesday by 12.00 EST. Failing to post by this time will result in a one vote deduction.

-Verses
All verses will be due by Friday 12.00 EST. A lateness to drop will result in a two vote deduction. If you no show two weeks in a row. You WILL be booted. And will have to re-sign back in if you want to re-enter the league.

-Extensions
A extension can ONLY be granted by your opponent. And the max extension is ONE day. Therefore if you get a extension your verse will be due by 12.00pm Saturday night. All extensions are due before the deadline on Friday.

-Line Limits
The line limit for a Regular battle will be a Ten line min. - Sixteen line max.
The line limit for a Champ match will be 16 line min. and NO max lines.

-Editing
You can ONLY edit your verse if you drop first and your opponent hasn't dropped his yet. If you see something you need to fix, grammatical error etc. There will be NO editing your verse after both verses have been posted. Also, there will be no editing YOUR sig or custom title if there is a punch in your opponents verse directed towards it. If you do so, it will result in a vote deducted.

-Voting
There wil be a set voting requirement for each week. It will be dependant among how many heads we have in the league when we start the season. Votes will be due by Sunday at 12.00pm EST. Failing to vote two weeks in a row and you WILL be booted. There will be no ONE line voting, votes have to be explained as in breakin down their verse, or a summary of your vote stating which punches you liked/disliked and who you thought won.

-Swaying
You will be warned the first time. Second time it will cost you a vote. This applies to whether you sway in Chat, or battle thread or the Mag section. Wherever, swaying is swaying.

-Feeding
There will be no feeding. It will result in a vote deduction.

-Recycling
Try not to recycle any lines. Please come original. Stay fresh son.

-Biting or Ghosting
This WILL result in you being booted for the rest of the season. And possibly banned depending on the discretion of the mods.

-Pics
You CAN'T use a pic in a battle of your opponent unless he agrees to it. I.E. you both agree to have a pic battle when you set the line limits. Or he can choose to have you DQ'd

-Upping
You do not need up your battle, everyone can see. The mods will up the battle if it needs it, which it probably won't.

-Scoring
The more you win by, the more points you get. Simple as that
KO win = +4 points (must win by at least 5 votes to no more than 0 votes)
Normal win = +3 points
No show win with proper verse posted = +3 points
No show win with just checkin or no show verse = +2 points
Normal loss = 0 points
KO loss = -1 point
No show loss = -3 points

-HW Title Defenses
If you are the champ, and you DEFEND your title that week. It's ONE point added to your total points.

-Aliases
You MUST register the names you intend to post in the league with.
