why should i ask you questions about battling? what do you know? nah...u probably know a lot more than me...i probably have some ?'s myself tryin to think of some...

what do you look for in a rap battle, and how are these things (the things u look for) accomplished by the writer?

i hope you can answer that, it may be to broad...but try please.

it is hard to incorporate punchlines while also having multiple rhyming, which do you consider more important to have? (im working on incorporating punches with multi rhyming now..it aint easy.)

sometimes i am at a shortage of punches...any suggestions?...ie..what to look for that will make it easier to use a word in a punchline (such as many meanings for the same words)

As far as multi's go.. I'll leave that for Kapone... As you have prolly seen I dont incorporate many.

Punchlines I do know however. First off you should never be short on punches. Use the site to your advantage. Peep old battles, check into the kids crew, read a profile nah mean. Just do your homework and personals will come easily. Personal punches hit much harder than generic ones so try to concentrate on them.

Other things to keep an eye on in your battles is wordplay and flow... For I guide to wordplay peep Quo's post. TYry to keep a relatively complex flow... dont take the easy way out on lines... Also always try to think outside the box.. look at old Mind Theory battles for perfect examples of this.

yea i use multies...

most of the time a punch is about ur opponet bein gay.. and therefore its played so punches arnt my stratagy

as you can tell i dont got the best record.. 9-3

but i havent lost in 9 trys, and its cuz i figured this:

punches are good for the haha factor..

but multies are good for the ooo awwww factor, what would appeal more laffing, or being amazed by some ones vocab...

so to make a long lecture short...

a punch can be incorperated with multies, the punch is just encased in multies [ima give an example, im not trying, im just in a hurry]
