Introduction

Hello and welcome to my commentary on this league. This isn't a mag as such, this is just a quick thread where I'm expressing some of my concerns and thoughts about PT. First of all thanks for reading and if you're in a battle this week then good luck, and drop hard. I'd like to express my appreciation to Troop and Tim who help run this league and close and set up new battles when I'm unable to. I know this league isn't as well organized as it should be but I'll be trying to rectify that over the next few weeks.

First and Foremost

What the fuck is with the voting here? For the most part it's appalling. Now I'm not pretending to be Jesus, I know I could pull my weight around here more but at least I leave decent feedback. I get very frustrated when people don't leave feedback to fellow writers work. I mean are you so up your own fucking ass that you are to help other writers elevate by letting them know what they're doing right and wrong? And then you get mad when no one votes in your battles. How long does it take to drop a decent vote? 5-10 minutes at the most? What the fuck else are you gonna spend that time doing? NOTHING else, that's what. If you have time to be online, you have time to vote. That's that, no if nor buts about it. You are not above voting, nor will you ever be. Stop thinking you're Shakespeare and show some humility. And also stop no showing. If you can't make a battle then let me know, don't just forget and not show. How gay is that? When someone else spends time and effort on a verse and the other lazy fag just doesn't show? I'll tell you how gay it is. It's gayer than Boy George in a leather outfit with red thongs on. So make sure you vote and make sure you show. That's all I ask. Two battles is enough for you to leave feedback on, is that really so hard?

I don't have time to review all of last weeks battles and most of them weren't that great anyway so I'll write some predictions for this week.

Predictions

Championship Match: Appocolyptik vs Troop
This should be a good battle, with both writers being good at topical and elevating. If both show and drop to their full capablity this should be battle of the week. I'm not sure who'll win but it will be close. Definitely one to watch out for either way.

Miss Behaving vs Crazy Hades
Another interesting battle here, it's Miss IQ of 182 vs RV's resident 14 year old boy who thinks he's master of the universe. Hades is renowned as dope on this site and his vocabularly is excellent. Miss Behaving has a unique storytelling style which maintains a good flow with tight imagery. I've got Miss Behaving taking this but I could be wrong. Hades has pubicly stated how wack Miss Behaving is and how easily he'll win. We'll have to see here, but I think he'll be left looking like a fool.

Kosta vs So Rell
If Kosta's who I think he is he'll ass rape So Rell. But So Rell is just battling because he wants to elevate at topical and because I asked him. Watch out for Kosta, if he keeps in the league he'll be champ within a few weeks in my opinion.

Dervla vs The Kid Sense
PT's local whipping boy against the ever respect Dervla. I can't see any other outcome other than KidSense no showing or KidSense being dominated like a down syndrome prostitute. Very one sided here folks, but TKS might suprise everyone and drop very hard. But like I said Dervla will win this one.

Wireless vs Malicious
I respect Wireless because he drops every week despite being faced with wack votes and no shows. Malicious is elevating but he's still not there yet. Wireless has been rushing every week but that's all he's had to do. Once he starts putting effort in and gets good opponents he'll be a force in this league.

Ennui vs JTR
I like Ennui, he's got a quiet and humble style about him but he's got some skill and given a bit of elevation will be up there challenging for the title. JTR's dope at text as we all know but I've never seen him do anything topical wise. He could conjure something dope here and destroy Ennui but I doubt it.

Tim vs Expo
Expo's another accomplished text head who's converted to topical and I expect he'll do well here. Tim however has been doing topical for a long time and I think his experience will carry him to victory. This could be interesting though and I hope both put effort into their verses.

KempoMRK vs Original
KempoMRK runs the LBL as we all know and is an excellent mag writer. Given his talent in literature I expect him to drop well, he's signed up to the RM league and gave Dark Nebula a very good battle so I hope he drops well here. Original however is a 2x RB hall of famer and I think his experience will see him winning.

Willnova vs I Am Unreal
Will is elevating and I like the fact he drops every week and votes in battles. He shows good use of multies but needs to work on the complexity of his concepts. Unreal shows very good use of metaphors and is the more accomplished writer. I think Unreal will take this comfortably with stronger imagery and more creative metaphors.

Thats a very difficult question to answer, there are some good writters there and id be very hard pressed to say who'd win it, especially as the topics have been so varied and the range has posed a challenge for some

writing is a beautiful mode of expression and it can help to release stress. I use writing as a means of escape, you can do whatever you want to with the written word and thats an amazing thing to realise

ive had poetry pubished and won contests for it, but I think the one im most proud of is having one of my pieces put onto an audio book for the blind, its a nice idea to know that someone who couldnt enjoy the written word was being given the opertunity to experience it

W/ Lucifer I slaughtered the righteous and put and end to pretentious ways
But Lucifer fell… & still envisioning Heavens waste with my harried eyes
The true Lord confronted me and triumphantly cast me from paradise

Feeding on the souls of the wicked I ruled w/ my brothers in dominance
But such is the worth of brethren w/ their perception the worse was leavened

The past of this man, with a capsule blade in his hand

For his brain to function correctly as hours kept passing
He goes to rehab; it only mocks the pain, scabs start to scar
As feelings commence, frustration and hatred remain clashing
If he had one wish, I’d be to get rid of this, and he can soon
With a deadly sip, with water in his glass, the pill is gone
Of course he knew what he did; he’ll be luck to last till noon
This poet seeks help, his pen and paper will help him move on

He awakens, losing all memory to where he was found last
Lost track of time, his name, and everything else in this world
Brain fried, know why? No clue where he was, forgotten past.
On top of all this, his body dismantled, suchlike it’s been hurled
Was this the work of an angel? The dose should have killed
Hells gates must have been full, and the heavens are filled
Or was it just luck? The pill should have just killed him, but
This setting would be known, as the blade that wouldn’t cut
