Whore
This is a verse about Hip-Hop so try to follow along

I used to love you but things in time have happened
You flipped on me now you all about money and platinum
sex and money and really its funny/How you fell for dudes like Nelly and Puffy/Went to the west for a minute
They took ya hood culture and made it a bussiness
The south fell for they gimmics Nas said it was written
U used to love a man who came from the heart
but that was way back when we used to chill in the parks
You was a work of art/ beautiful creative and shit
You was a wonderful sista the money made you a bitch
gave them a way out with ya wealth/nowya acting way outta they self/and not for the better/ everybody popping they metal/Got a ice rocked bezzle and a drop for the hot weather
Nobody seems to have a day when they struggled
but everybody rich porter and gots a million ways to hustle
You was a good women used to be the voice of the people
But you chose money over truth ya choices was evil
Its me to save you cuz i know how it was when they made you
I hate you but i love you more
and its fucked up cuz im in love with a whore

whats your problem^ waiting for me to drop so you can
match it????????????

hip-hop! over the years it's been contaminated with false facts
practically telling us physical abuse is the way to stay on track
the form of music is blamed for domestic violence and allegations
istening to the genre get's you stereotyped with cruel expectations
hip-hop! lyrically infestation came when the legends passed away
money is for expensive things and bling? is that how its portrayed
less serious matter can no longer express ourselves through the form
through it's entire history it changes shape and slowly transforms
to something we would never in our lives believe it could be true
hip-hop! is out of our grasps not in our hold its not in subdue
the music is our right to have but it's been taken away from us
we hear people cussing and the matter is not worth discussing
We all promised to be true to it we even went under a great oath
it only went downhill and hasn't elevated there has been no growth
fake gangsters, italian mobsters also false statements and lies
in ten years I can see it basically in the state on it's demise
but in our hearts and souls it has never lost its really destiny
and thanks to Mr.Kweli and the other its been better multiply
true lyricists taught us to be true and to speak our minds
think of it long then the real essense of it won't be hard to find

damn... this was some good shyt... both verses were good but i gotta go with caliph on this one... the imagery in his rhyme was on point... it kinda reminded me of the joint Common did (I Used To Love H.E.R.)... caliph's flow and structure was also a little better.

There were a few mis steps in forsaken's joint but the ideas were there and easy to catch on to... like when you rhymed multply and destiny... little things like that steals from your shine... there were a couple of lines that kinda confused me on first read but after re-reading it I got the point... good topical battle y'all but I gotta ride w/ Caliph

You guys are pretty simple-minded sometimes... he wasn't saying hip-hop changes a woman... he was veiwing hip-hop AS a woman... re-read it and maybe you'll understand... open ya minds a little... he was on topic the whole time.

One.
