What is the GBA?


An interesting question, and the answer is easy.

The GBA is the Gimmick Battle Association. The key word being "GIMMICK". Basically every text league out there is always regular text battling, and for those who have been battling for so long its becoming increasingly annoying seeing the same old played shit dropped all the time. Its also making it difficult for new battlers to bring a consistent amount of fresh material.

The first league to take a step away from this derivative trend is the IBA which is a Picture Battle League. The GBA aims to take that initiative one step further with the FIRST and ONLY Gimmick Battle League.
Every week will be a gimmick, whether it be a week of picture battling between famous actors... or battles between comic book superheroes. And not just that, there could be Concept Flipping Battles, Multies Battles... even some shit like, ummm.... Diss A Dude's Mother Battles.

Basically, these standard text leagues all have their Special Events once a month where its full of Gimmick Battles... this league will be like a non-stop Special Event. Gone will be the days of struggling for personals, fresh punches.... its all a gimmick, its all fun. Its no longer fucking the same old boring shit week after week.
