Pert breasts were consumed,
By the festering moons, rays as they crept in her room ..
.. Reflecting the smooth,
Dexterous movements, of adolescents in bloom!
Excitement filled the air,
Alongside the scent of sweat and perfume ..
.. Surrounding the vespertine two,
As Mark erectly pursued, the depths of her womb.
Jade’s rich, auburn, hair…
…Draped loosely to sequester her boobs
As low moans desperately grew ..
.. and Mark correctly assumed, her ecstasy loomed!
He kept her subdued
Softly kissing the neck of the nubile, as she intrepidly crooned ..
.. With firm hands arresting her movement,
To allow his sordid sceptres intrusion.

“I’M PREGNANT!” she boomed,
While gesturing to, a test that was blue ..
.. “Great, who’s the dad?” smirked Mark,
While casually side-stepping the room.
From their fenestra he viewed,
A piquant, exquisite crescendo of hues ..
.. Quite content with the conventional view,
That his life had been pencilled into.
They’d long been trying to conceive,
And so Mark had half-expected the news ..
.. but met with breathless ado,
At the prospect of a son yet to educe!
That small vestige of youth would provide,
More than just a beautiful sight ..
.. But the entire basis on which their whole future’s applied.
They searched for a bigger home,
And planned to wed once Junior arrived ..
.. beneath a truly divine, cerulean sky,
But fate dealt them the cruellest surprise…

Mark’s lurid surmise, as Jade was rushed to Maternity ..
.. in such an emergency, made him feel stupid inside.
“The medics know what they’re doing.”
He’d nervously repeat to himself ..
.. whilst checking the cellphone set to vibrate, he secretes on his belt.
Until at last arrives a doctor with hair wispy and grey…
...who delivers the bad news,
With the same ease you’d expect him to deliver a baby.
In that instant, their lives were shattered.
And though they still longed to get married…
…they realised life would just not be the same,

Without the son they had miscarried.
