Jay-Z Takes Over London

IP:

Beyonce Knowles, Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow joined Jay Z at his historic Royal Albert Hall show last night.

Hov' played the second UK date of his current world tour to a sold-out crowd in London, with a star-studded set of celebrity guests.

Playing throughout with a 25-piece orchestra, a DJ and rapper Memphis Bleek, Jay Z ran through a hit-packed set from his entire ten year career.

The show was the first hip hop concert at the prestigious venue and featured classic tracks such as "What More Can I Say", "Hola Hovito", "Hard Knock Life", "99 Problems" and "Encore".

Midway through the gig, Hova's former rap rival Nas joined the party, performing a string of tracks to celebrate the record deal he recently signed with Def Jam, where Jay Z is CEO.

However, the appearance of the ever humble Coldplay star Martin on "Dead Presidents II" was reserved the biggest reception.

Playing piano on the song, Martin later reappeared to sing on "Heart Of The City (Ain't No Love)", while Paltrow provided backing vocals on "Song Cry".

Towards the end of the show, Beyonce joined her boyfriend on-stage for wildly received takes on two of her own tracks, "Crazy In Love" and "DéjÃ- Vu".

"Kingdom Come", which is expected to feature Chris Martin on one track, is scheduled for release on November 27.

Jay new album is going to be another classic
